Spectacular views!
Posted Sep. 16, 2019 on HotelsGreat place for longer stay. Rooms are basic but clean (you simply don’t care about the interior if outside is so beautiful!). Breakfast is for sweets lovers - not many healthy options. Tip.1 ask for room next to infinity pool if you are looking for peaceful and quite place. Tip2. Don"t expect it to be agriculture farm with owners touch. It’s more like small hotel.

A wonderful oasis
Posted Sep. 8, 2019 on HotelsFattoria Voltrona is an amazing place. The calmness of the place, the views, the service, the food. We had a lovely three night stay, and wished we could stay longer. All around the atmosphere at Voltrona is calm and kind, most of the guests have the same mentality, and all is just so cozy.
The food in the restaurant is good, and some dishes are great. But we've had better food during our Tuscan trip, Voltrona is however in harsh competition.
Another con is the gravel road leading to the villa, if you're a novice driver, it might prove a bit daunting.
We'll hopefully come again.

Excellent agriturismo near San Gimignano. Beautiful surroundings and the pool is a welcome relief in summer. Could use a clock in the rooms.

The house was really uniqe and my daughter woke up in the morning to see the horses. It was an amazing experience. At night we saw the stars and it was a blast.

Beautiful Farm Stay!
Posted May 13, 2019 on HotelsMy partner and I spent a week traveling around Tuscany and Fattoria Voltrona was our favorite place to stay. The accommodations were great and fairly priced, the food at their restaurant was excellent, the countryside was beautiful, and San Gimignano was accessible by foot (though it was a bit of a hike)!
