The location and property itself was not bad. It definitely has potential to be a great rental. However, it's just outdated and not very well kept. The response time for issues we had was also very slow. Overall, it was an okay stay but we will not be booking again.

Fantastic house and great location

We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful home in Rancho Cerro Colorado. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The location is absolutely ideal—tucked away in a serene, private neighborhood that feels like a true escape, yet just minutes from the San Jose restaurants and stores.The private beach access was a dream—quiet, pristine, and perfect for morning walks. It felt like our own slice of paradise. The house itself was well maintained and fully equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We spent our days lounging by the pool, cooking in the kitchen, and soaking in the gorgeous views. There are some stairs leading from the street to the house, but they are totally manageable.Communication with the host was seamless and thoughtful. They were incredibly responsive, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed from check-in to check-out. We would absolutely stay here again!

Good stay, could have been great

Communications prior to trip was great. During our stay became lagging or nonexistent. Sewer back up in pool house (temporary fix). To heat the pool costs (may want to disclose up front). Water heater broken from day 1). The house is starting to show age. Still has potential. Beware 46 steps from the street (we knew about the steps not the qty).
