Downtown SJ

Great for trips centered around the convention center. Just removed from loads of options within a few blocks. Very walkable and convenient for navigating the downtown area.

I drove away the minute I saw the surronding neighborhood, I forgot how rundown, downtown San Jose is. I went to check in around 10 pm and there were homeless people wandering all around downtown San Jose. I should have booked Hyatt Cupertino or Hyatt place San Jose airport. I recently purchased a new car and did not want to have a smash and grab performed on my vehicle. I am sure the hotel is nice on the inside,but there was no way I was going to risk staying there. I just ate the cost of the room due to the unsafe neighborhood. I stay in hotels in San Jose weekly for work and I will NOT be booking anymore rooms downtown. This was a huge waste of money.

My stay at the Hyatt Place Downtown San Jose was spectacular. The hotel is clean and conveniently located across from the SJCC. What truly sets this property apart is the staff. Erika, Veronica and Albert truly went above and beyond to make my business trip a success.

The Hyatt Place San Jose exceeded my expectations. The property itself is clean, quiet and conveniently located across the street from the SJCC. The staff is absolutely stellar, Erika, Veronica and Albert are the real standouts that make me want to return anytime that I have to stay in San Jose.

The property itself is great; the rooms are spacious and clean, with a refrigerator in the room, which is always a plus. It is located across the street from the SJCC, which is the reason I selected it, however what really makes this hotel stand out is its staff. Erika literally went above and beyond to assist with an important business presentation and she could not have been more accommodating with making sure I had everything I needed under immense time constraints. I would certainly stay here on future trips and recommend it to other business travelers.

Very nice room with sit in area, large, everything you need. There is no coffee maker, but there is a free breakfast - good enough: oatmeal, yogurt, scrambled eggs, sausages, bagel and cream cheese, fruits, coffee. Nice "personnel. Parking is pretty expensive, and a little confusing, we stayed on week-end and a lot of spaces were not available, still you can find a space. Santana Row is not walking distance; you can drive, it will take about 10 min and there parking free for the first 2 hours, so you can have nice breakfast there too. Would stay again. Thanks!
