The hotel was very clean. There were supposed to serve breakfast, but we checked in we were told there will be breakfast. We would be compensated Seventeen dollars a day for breakfast. The restaurant in the hotel served breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This was posted on the restaurant door. Very confusing. They should remove the sign off the door. Check-in was at 4:00p we arrived around. I had two rooms reserved. One was ready. so, all of went to that room. The concierge took my phone number and said she would contact us when the room was ready. After one hour passed no one contacted me. I called the desk to inquire if the room was ready. The concierge should have remembered to call me.

The room was pretty pricey for what it was but I guess that’s expected when you only need one night or are trying to stay near the port. The front desk staff was excellent but the room just average. Quite a small place and not enough room for one, let alone two, good size suitcases. I just expected more for a Marriott.

I expected a much higher standard from a Courtyard by Marriott property . Unfortunately, my experience at the Miramar in Puerto Rico location did not meet those expectations. The service felt disorganized, staff responsiveness was slow, and there was a lack of professionalism in handling guest concerns. For the price paid, the value simply wasn’t there. I arrived at around 10:00 a.m. and was informed that check-in was at 4:00 p.m. However, even by 5:38 p.m., our room was still not ready. I was tired and didn’t feel well. Additionally, the food was disappointing and extremely overpriced for the quality offered. They finally called me fo the room
