The staff was amazing and grounds were beautiful however, the room wasn’t clean, towels were stained, and room door had issues. My key card was rejected multiple times, then the lock broke I had to be moved to another room. When in the other room the door didn’t open I was trapped in room and had to call maintenance to open the door.

The lobby area is outstanding. The staff is very polite, friendly and helpful. This is the third time we stay here. We did notice the room and areas are not being kept up as they used to before it changed ownership. Kudos to Nasheli in the pool area!

Upon my arrival which was about 3:50pm with my two children ages 10 (special needs) and 6. I checked in and paid my balance in full! I was told after that process of check in that my room was not ready !! Unexceptable!!, I had to wait an hour and a half for my room to get ready. Let me give some perspective on this trip I booked this trip to celebrate me being cancer free as well as celebrate bringing my boys on their first trip on a plane and first time going to Puerto Rico. Secondly the food was not good and over priced my first night I had mofongo which I was told that was a signature dish in Puerto Rico it was $59 and salty entirely over priced!!. I deceided to also order food to my room and on my last night was told that the book that was in the room listed the wrong prices for the food. When questioned about it I will say they changed the price, but… it was only because I asked to speak with a supervisor. I then went to the front desk and ask that they audit the previous purchases and refund the difference. They refunded the difference but I was disappointed in how that was handled. If I never spoke up I would have been over charged. El Fairmount DO BETTER!!!! For the amount of money I have spent on this trip the service should have been better!!!

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at Fairmont El San Juan Hotel. We fell in love with the beautiful beach that was in super close proximity to the hotel. The food was absolutely delicious and the hospitality of the staff was insanely welcoming.

This place was so beautiful,relaxing. The problem i had was they need people in the Casino when calling name in English when doing the raffles. And we had to check you receipt for any additional charges. Overall I will give it 9 out 10 review.

The staff was extremely nice and helpful except slow. We waited a long time for check in and for drinks at the bar but all were very pleasant experiences. I would definitely stay here a million times over again!

The Fairmont is a beautiful hotel with wonderful amenities. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the pool's atmosphere in the evening relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The beach was so nice and there were plenty of chairs/umbrellas and sunblock for everyone. We also enjoyed Starbucks every day! PS It is only a short uber ride to Old San Juan.

We had a lovely experience at the hotel itself. Great staff, very clean. The casino screwed us with a “technicality” that somehow did not apply the first three nights we went to the casino and placed bets. They decided on day THREE that suddenly when you use cash, they get to decide what you win, despite that NOT being the case the first three nights we gambled (we had verbal confirmation that cash bets were valid). We have also never had this experience at any other casino we’ve ever been to. We regret spending money here and made us leave this experience with a bad taste in our mouths. Id tell future guests: great hotel, nice experience, and STAY AWAY from the casino

Staff was rude, rooms are horrible and dirty, outdated, I was moved 2 times from room , first one was flooded, second one was extra dirty. Overall do not recommend this hotel, staff not friendly.
