Pancho Paradise is a gem. It was huge, well appointed, and exactly like the photos make it out to be! What you donât see is Pancho- the red Macau whoâs just so cute and a little ham to boot! Loved him! Also, youâre in the jungle! Like. Itâs amazing! You hear the coqui, you hear the chickens, you hear the goats! Itâs wild. Literally wild! It would be perfect for large groups- just do it!
Panchoâs Paradise was everything we expected from the beautiful views to the spacious home itself. We loved and looked forward to seeing Pancho the Parrot every morning and loved it. Great place for family.
Overall we had a great stay! There was plenty of room for all of us and having a pool was great! Laundry was easy to use. As other reviews have said, the road is windy and narrow but not that bad in our opinion. Most activities are going to be 30-60 mins drive depending on time of day which was no problem for us. Our only hiccups were some plumbing issues (which they sent someone out very quickly to work on) and wishing there were a few items in the kitchen cuz we did a lot of cooking (toaster, cookie sheets, and more dishes because we had a large group). These likely wonât matter to most people though. At least one room had a dehumidifier but more would have been nice though definitely not a deal breaker. The property was pretty clean and had plenty of towels on hand. Some past water damage visible and the odd bug every now and again but pretty good for being in the middle of the rainforest. Some of the furniture is nearing end of life probably but there was also new mattresses and a new couch so that was great. Kitchen appliances looked new as well. Overall a positive experience and would recommend to others needing a large space for bigger groups. The property manager was great to work with and easy to communicate with/very helpful! We very much appreciated that!
Great for a group of 4 friends and family for a week! We cherished our time that we could pop back from adventuring to take a dip in the pool, grab a nap, or just hangout and look at the rainforest. We spent a whole afternoon and evening just hanging out in the pool and enjoying cocktails and beer by the pool under the outdoor kitchen with one of the best views in Puerto Rico. By night youâre surrounded by the coqui frogs and insects singing. The kitchen and living room doesnât have AC but the fan is superb and keeps you cool. The AC units in the bedrooms were perfect and kept us comfortable!
