Quick 3 day stay

Loved the property- would stay again. BUT 0 communication with host. I didnt even get a reply back when I asked for check in instructions upon arrival at correct time. I would have been screwed but the last guest didn't lock the key up correctly and I was able to get it out of the lock box. No message to make sure we got in or to check up on us.

We had issues the entire time. DO NOT BOOK. We booked this place specifically for the location and amenities. Most of which were non existent. To start the lock code we are given was incorrect. The property did not have a hot tub as previously listed until the host changed after our arrival. The washing machine does not work. It doesn’t even fill up a third of the way with water. The electricity ran out on our second day there and the owner tried to tell us it was because we used too much electricity. All we are using was two AC. After the power ran out, she told us that we would not be able to use the ACs major appliances in order for the battery back up to recharge.. we left after our second day due to these kind of restrictions. I was traveling with the daughter with asthma and not having electricity or AC was not acceptable. As stated by others, there is no AC in the living room and the window windows do not close all the way. There is also no toaster oven. There was no hot water in the bathroom and there was bugs nest all over the property and ants. There are so many rules at this property, no washing clothes at night, you can’t wash clothes and shower at the same time. The owner refused to provide a refund or any form of compensation and told us to fight with our travel insurance. Do not book with her. I have been fighting with VRBO to get a refund

I was in town for a quick 2 day stay. The check-in process was easy. All of the little touches to the place made it more enjoyable (cookies, waters, coffee, hampers, shower caddy filled with shower needs). It was definitely toasty in the living room where the only television is, but the bedrooms were cool and the beds were comfy. Only 1 small recommendation, a bag of ice in the fridge or ice trays would be very helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to others!

When I first booked this reservation I thought it was too good to be true! But I wanted to be close to my relatives and so I decided to book it anyways. I work from home so I needed a place with wifi and air conditioning. I also traveled with my two small children and I wanted to make sure we were comfortable. I arrived on Wednesday and I was scheduled to work from 3-6:30pm, this is where everything started going wrong… during one of my meetings the power went out! I called the host to let her know and asked what can be done since I specifically booked this property because I needed to work! Her response was that “she did not have control over the power outages in Puerto Rico”. The power went out 3 times in total on Wednesday. Thursday night right before midnight the Power went out again! This time it didn’t return until about 3am. My kids and I were so hot we could barely breath. So I opted to go to the car until the power came back. The place has Problems with the plumbing, plumbing issues which I addressed, sink, toilet and tub all three got clogged! I just had enough and decided to check out earlier! The host stopped corresponding with me and I’m still waiting to hear back from her. I just wanted to get refunded for the 2 nights I decided not to stay there for all the inconveniences presented the 2 days prior. Advise if you decide to book this property: ask them if they already fixed the plumbing issues I and added a generator. Also bring repellent.
