Island and Caye lime review
The place was great. Never had any problems finding the proper utensils for cooking except maybe a few sharper knives. We enjoyed the The spaciousness. However the overhead lights could have used stronger lightbulbs. The place was well-kept and clean. It was just the right distance from town to avoid the congestion out of the downtown area There was a problem with barking dogs in the neighborhood at night but if you turn on the air-conditioner and close the windows they were not Bothersome. The one room that just had worked well if you turned on the fan and closed the window blinds. The other thing I would recommend to the landlord is to provide his WhatsApp phone number as well as the local caretakers WhatsApp phone number to avoid any local or long distance phone chargers.
Regarding the island itself I would recommend that you could negotiate golf cart rentals As we got ours for half price after we started Dickering with various golf cart vendors. One of the vendors near Central Park give us the best price. That is if you pay cash. We thought that the diving was good but the clarity was not the best. Saw lots of critters. We noticed that Harley anybody was swimming in the water as the sea weed which had accumulated quite heavily on the shore Made it quite unpleasant to wait through to get to the water. This was my second trip to Belize and the weeds on the shore were just as bad the first trip. In all in all it was a good experience but we all agree that we probably will not come back to ambergris again. There are plenty of other good diving spots around The Caribbean.
