The property was nice overall, the biggest problem I had was that the room, and hallways all stinked of animal urine!! Extremely strong. Yes they are pet friendly, but the rooms are all carpeted so it's all soaked in for years. Bed was hard, and pillows were harder, i have a severe neck and shoulder pain since I slept there last night.

Great stay! Staff is friendly and helpful. The property is literally right on the state beach. Saw the ocean from our room. It was nice and clean. The bathroom is amazing!!!

This hotel has lovely rooms with a very nice bathroom including soaker tub and separate shower. There is a gas fireplace. The linens and bed were good quality. You can hear the ocean and have a limited view of it. Breakfast was well stocked. There are interesting g prints of Julia Morgan’s sketches for the Hearst Castle throughout the building.

Overall a good experience. Quiet area, walking distance to the beach. The property is dated but they’re doing the best with what they’ve got. Friendly staff, free parking. The mattress was too firm for my preference (other members of my family didn’t mind). My only suggestion is to bring your own charges WITH adapters. The property does not have any USB compatible plugs in the room other than the basic outlet.

The room was clean with a fireplace. We chose an ocean view room. The ocean is visible but not very close. The pool is in another building down the street as was a very limited continental breakfast. All in all I would recommend.

EVERYTHING WAS GREAT! I HAVE STAYED HER MANY TIMES BEFORE .I LOVE THEIR BREAKFAST IN THE MORNING .ONE THING THAT BOTHERED ME WAS THE NOISE NOT SURE IF IT HAD TO DO WITH THE FIREPLACE OR SOMETHING ELSE BUT IT DID KEEP ME WAKE ONE NIGHT AND THE TV DID NOT WORK MOST OF THE TIME THAT WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING
