Sanibel Siesta on the Beach, Unit 208. Beautiful Gulf View renovated condo that is 5-Star rated on VRBO, TripAdvisor and HomeAway. Bright and colorful, with tropical decor that you look for on an island vacation. Convenient location to our heated pool, tennis courts, laundry facilities, office, and just steps to our sugar-white beach. Beach chairs and umbrella are furnished. Close to elevator and parking. King bed (Sealy Posturepedic mattress) in master BR and comfortable twin beds in guest BR, which can be bridged into a King bed with advanced notice. New queen sleeper sofa (Sealy mattress) in living room area. All new granite-top cabinetry in kitchen and bathrooms, tiled floors throughout living area (bedrooms carpeted). Ceiling fans in all rooms and lanai area. Living room has large Samsung Smart-TV flat-screen with DVD player and library of DVDs. Also, an AM/FM/CD unit with CDs, small library of novels/books and puzzles/games. Free Wi-Fi and phone w/message system. Both bedrooms have private bathroom, walk-in closet, clock radio, and flat-screen TV/DVD player. Guest BR and second bath have door to the hallway that may be closed for privacy for guest BR area. Master BR has a safe in the walk-in closet, for valuables. Both bathrooms are equipped with hair dryer, grab bars in shower/tub. Kitchen is fully-equipped with all stainless steel appliances, cookware, dinnerware, and starter package of dish-washer detergent, paper towels, garbage bags, etc. Linens/towels are exchanged at the office on Tuesdays, for 7 or more night stays. A complimentary bottle of wine from the owner, as a welcome! Other Amenities include: Children's beach toys, iron and ironing board, portable cart for groceries, folding step stool for kitchen, clothes drying rack on lanai, seashell cleaning sink by laundry room, pool/beach shower next to swimming pool, restaurant next door at Sanibel Island Beach Resort (breakfast, lunch, & dinner plus a "happy-hour"), a public golf course is one (1) block away from the condo. We have Bicycle Rentals, also! Plus, we have a GREAT OFFICE & MAINTENANCE STAFF ON SITE TO ATTEND TO YOUR NEEDS! Reservation pricing is based on a party of 4. A $30 daily fee will apply for any 5th or 6th person, a 1-time extra linen charge of $35.00 will apply. Max occupancy is 6 including children and infants.

We had a wonderful stay over Christmas break. The property was spotless from the unit itself to the pool and beach areas. Staff was friendly and all processes and instructions were clear. Appreciated pet friendly accommodations and many others were also traveling with pets in the building but we never experienced any disturbances. Only downside was we had hoped to play tennis and the courts at Sanibel Siesta were not yet repaired. Sundial has courts available nearby but it was 20 per person to rent when we inquired. Perhaps the charge would be less during a slower time of year. There is also a golf course across the street that looked beautiful but we simply ran out of time this trip. We will definitely be back!

Everything you need

This condo had everything we needed for a great beach stay - including well equipped kitchen, easy walk to the beach, and a small but lovely pool. The buildings are older but well maintained, and the staff was super friendly. And it was so convenient to have bike rental on-site. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful place to stay.

Location!

Pros and Cons of what I would want to know when booking. Pros: LOCATION! This property is only maybe a 1 mile to shops and restaurants. Also, it is right on the beach. Closet was FULL of beach equipment! There were 2 chairs, 2 chaise loungers, pool noodles, nets, buckets, football and 3 boogie boards. Plus some umbrellas and other odds and ends. There was even a cart to put all your things in and wheel down t the beach! The only thing missing was a cooler for the beach, which may have even been in there, I just didn't look real hard. Rental Bikes on Property! You will def want to get some bikes and explore the island. We used them to shop, go to restaurants and explore. Cons: The pull out couch is extremely uncomfortable. My kids are 18, 16, 14, and 9 yrs old and all of them had to sleep on it at least once. They all did not like it and they usually don't complain about that. No washer and dryer in unit or in the same building and you have to download an app to purchase your loads. The app makes you put at least $10 on at a time, so if you were planning on not doing many loads, you're out of luck. It is $1.75 per load for washer and same for dryer. I heard the complex does give you one free wash though. Internet is not great. There is WiFi in the building, and I found that if you unplug it and plug it back it, it will work better, but you will be doing this multiple times. While they have bikes on site, most days it was hard to find one that was working - there were a lot with flat tires or chain that fell off. However, towards the end of our stay, they had stocked them back up! There were plenty, so guess its just hit or miss type thing. Overall, our trip was great! I wasn't sure what to expect being high school spring break, I thought there might have been more kids on the island, but that wasn't the case. It was a lot of older people and a lot of families with younger children - so the beaches and town were not super busy or overrun by teens. It was supe relaxing and the weather was GEORGOUS!!! I would def go back and the kids loved it too.

Great location

The condo was in a great location and was equipped with everything we needed. Everything was clean and well maintained. Sanibel Siesta is also pet friendly which was a huge plus for us. We would stay here again and recommend to others.

Away for too long

We vacationed at Sanibel Island several years ago. This trip has been planned for a long time. Thankfully, it is still a quiet, peaceful place to relax and enjoy the beach, pool, grounds and the beautiful islands of Sanibel and Captiva.

The perfect place for the perfect relaxing beach getaway! Sanabel island is a beautiful place! Assisting in making the beauty more real is staying in a fantastic place it is it within walking distance to the beach. The unit, the condominium grounds, the staff, the pool, and the beach we’re all superb.

Great trip!

Came here with our two young kids and had a blast. Right on the beach. The unit works great for a family with two children. Beach is amazing and the shelling is second to none. Made a day trip to Captiva and it was incredible. Location of Sanibel Siesta is perfect.

Friendly & relaxing

Beautifully maintained property with a fantastic, friendly helpful staff. The online listing is as described except for there weren't sufficient pots & pans to cook dinner. A great place for eating breakfast & lunch in and going out for dinner. Appreciated all the ceiling fans. Good collection of books & DVDs. Noted the pack and play portable crib in the closet for a little one. Very comfortable & relaxing.

Great location close to the shells on the beach

The condo was very clean and was acceptable to two couples. It would have been better for a family due to the twin beds in the second bedroom. The condo had a small view of the ocean but the short walk to the beach was perfect. The screened porch was a pleasant place to relax. The staff was very helpful.
