The Recovery Room home is located in the Shell Harbor neighborhood, near the causeway entrance to Sanibel Island. With direct access to the Gulf of Mexico, this 2 bedroom, 2 bath (plus den) pool home is ideal for avid boaters. The dock may or may not be suitable for kayak use.
Our clear dark skies are ideal for stargazing, and you can sit in the front yard or stroll over to the nearby Sanibel Marina and watch SpaceX rocket launches year round.
In addition to panoramic views of the waterways from the living room, family room, kitchen and lanai, the Recovery Room has a boat dock and seawalls that are perfect for fishing, dolphin watching and enjoying sunsets.
The formal living room seats 5 comfortably, and has beautiful views of the pool and waterway. In addition, the family room seats 6, and has a flat panel TV and water views.
The fully-equipped kitchen features Kitchen-Aid stainless steel appliances, including a french door refrigerator with ice-maker and water dispenser, Painted Lady granite countertops, and a view of the pool and waterways.
The laundry room is just off of the kitchen, and it has a stack washer/dryer, and provides access to the 2-car garage.
The Primary bedroom has a King Bed, en-suite bath with shower, tv and a lovely view of the pool and waterways. The guest bedroom also has a King Bed, tv, and the guest bath is just across the hall. The bathroom has access to the screened lanai and pool deck.
The screened lanai has long views of the Shell Harbor canals, and the pool has solar and electric heat, making it comfortable for year-round swimming. There is a bbq grill on the lanai as well.
The boat dock is perfect for fishing, and there is water and electric available should you bring your boat along.
Shell Harbor its own private beach access that is a short distance by bicycle or car. A complimentary parking permit is provided for your use.
We know it is important for you to stay in touch with the outside world while you're here, so we provide complimentary Starlink satellite internet service.
The Recovery Room is professionally managed by Cottages to Castles of Sanibel & Captiva. Since 1997, they've been making sure that each stay is a memorable one.
This home is zoned by the City of Sanibel for minimum 28-night rental. No Exceptions.
The Recovery Room is on a cul-de-sac in a pet-friendly neighborhood. Your doggie is welcome at the Recovery Room, with prior approval of the Owner and Cottages to Castles. Payment of a non-refundable pet fee is required. The non-refundable fee is based on the length of your stay and the number of doggies in residence and/or visiting the property. Weight limit and breed restrictions may be applicable.

Use of Boat Docks and Boat Lifts: Not all boat docks and boat lifts are for tenant use. Please specify at time of reservation if a boat dock or lift is needed for use at the property in which you are renting. If not disclosed and previously approved by Cottages to Castles, you will be asked to remove the vessel immediately. There may be an extra charge for use of the boat dock and/or lift at the designated property. A signed damage waiver is required.
