My plan when renovating this house, was once you stepped inside the gates to the property, you felt as if you landed in Hawaii.....Mission accomplished!
With beautiful Sand Stone concrete accenting the lush tropical plants surrounding nearly every square foot & entire perimeter of the property you truly will feel your at a resort while laying around the backyard. A solar heated pool keeps the temperature at a perfect 82ish degrees (April-October) while floating around soaking up the sun....gas heating option available for additional charge during winter ;) oh yes the sun, did we mention that Santa Barbara usually has a cloud cover til early afternoon, NOT HERE! due to the unique location of the property, this neighborhood is the first sunny area in SB almost daily! With a cross town bike route running along our cross street and a nature preserve at the end of the block this is truly a great location. 5 minutes to the beach or downtown your right where you wanna be! all new everything, from the Granite countertops to the LED lights, this house was beautifully remodeled down to every last detail!
*Due to Covid i am only allowing guests from 1-2 households max reserve the property.

Lovely property in a beautiful neighborhood
Pros:
- Conveniently located with easy access to highways and only minutes from Santa Barbara airport.
- Quiet, peaceful street
- Beautiful setting with very high hedges surrounding the property, providing complete privacy from neighbors.
- Lush, verdant backyard with pool, hot tub, firepit, hammocks and lounge chairs.
- Bright, sunlight home with plenty of windows and skylights.
- Comfortable, spacious interior with good size rooms. Master BR, 2 smaller BRs. Living room, family room and 3 TVs. 2 full bathrooms.
- Beds were comfy.
- Ample supply of bathroom towels, beach towels, sheets and pillows..
Cons: (Note: These are all relatively minor.)
- WiFi spotty
- Softsoap handsoap was the only soap in the two bathrooms.
- Haphazard (but serviceable) array of plates and utencils.
- Food left in fridge, presumably from previous renters.
- Some may be confused by the description of the sleeping accommodations. Just to be clear, there are 3BRs. Beyond that, there's a mattress that can go on the floor of the living or family room and a sofa, which some may not find suitable for sleeping.

Great family vacation
We stayed for a week, spent most of our time in the gorgeous backyard enjoying the pool, jacuzzi, hammocks and fire pit.
Great walking/bike trails, easy drive to the zoo, wharf and beach. John was a wonderful host. I would definitely return!

Great pool side vacation home
The pictures accurately depict a wonderful house and pool. We enjoyed our time there. I will also add that john was very helpful in helping me clear up a reservation issue, along with the other stuff we connected with him on. Thanks John!
