We had a great time! The neighborhood was gated and quiet. The house suited our family beautifully. The management company was very good to us and quickly responsive to our concerns.
1) Property is advertised âno pets allowedâ yet there were two large pet carriers in the 2nd floor primary bedroom closet and a dog brush in the top drawer of the kitchen island. I was unaware that there is a distinction between âno petsâand âlandlord allows their own petsâ. Regardless of who owns the pets, ne aware that dogs have been present on furniture, on all flooring and throw rugs and on or in beds. 2) Along two of the staircase walls were dozens of photographs of members of the landlordâs extended family which conveyed the impression that vacation tenants are intruders.The home is well appointed and situated in a quiet, shaded and gated community with cobblestone streets, a very nice pool and nearby beach access. We previously rented a different home one block away in the same neighborhood and encountered neither of the two described issues.
