If you love to cook, look no further as the huge kitchen is equipped and suited to accommodate the world’s top chefs. The dining room can hold up to 10 friends and family for an intimate dinner party. The ranch style home has been recently upgraded, from brand new furniture and new paint, to the gorgeous new rustic wood floors, brand new chefs kitchen and glass tiled bathrooms. The air conditioning/heating system throughout the house keeps you comfortable anytime of the year. These upgrades will insure a comfortable and relaxing stay. The wood burning fireplace is a must have in the winter. Stay in, go out, Whispering Hills Ranch is close to all the best restaurants in Los Olivos, Santa Ynez and Solvang.
The pool is wide-open to the Western daylight exposure as the beautiful wine country surrounds the property. The foreground highlights the Santa Ynez rolling hills and paints the blue valley sky with its remarkable rolling green hills.

The back patio is furnished with a dining table for 8, and a nearby lounge area with 2 couches, making it an ideal place to enjoy meals with family or friends al fresco style. The house was beautiful. Amazing views and even more spacious than we expected! There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. It was easy to find with the detailed driving instructions and very close to the venue of wedding that we were there to attend. Also great proximity to downtown Los Olivos.

Lovely property - great for our group. On our final day, the yard maintenance people showed up and started blowing leaves while we were trying to enjoy our last hours sipping coffee over conversation. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, but the Teflon pots and pans were badly scratched - I was afraid to use them especially on the baby's food.

Family wedding

Location and property were beautiful. And Spring in this area is breathtaking. Asked question shortly after booking about distance to event and got no response (I was concerned that we might be too far away; however, it worked out fine). Also mentioned that we heard something in the walls of the master bedroom two nights while we were there (maybe birds, geckos, not sure) but kept us awake. Also, got no response to that concern.

Lovely property, well equipped. We had a wonderful stay to celebrate my mother’s 85th. Unfortunately my mother fell and broke her hip on the Saturday evening- but the 911 responders were amazing.

Great Location, Lovely Home

Perfect girls getaway to visit Solvang and nearby towns. The house exceeded our expectations. It was much more spacious and well appointed than the photos and site conveyed. We enjoyed leisurely mornings in the home and ventured out to explore the wineries, shops, dining and scenery during the days and evenings. We would definitely return!!

House needing immediate attention

Lovely home and location in dire need of attention. Pool quite dirty, pool furniture torn and uncomfortable. Stove not working properly, bedroom fan noise, master T.V not working. Carbon monoxide detectors still in packages. Hall rugs and windows dirty. Jacuzzi cover in bad condition. Some furniture and accessories need replacing .

Fun wine getaway with friends! Place was a little remote but beautifully decorated and loved the farmhouse look inside and out. It wasn’t sparkling clean but that might be due to dust and environment. Would recommend for a large family!

Amazing quick stay!!

We decided to book a quick trip near Solvang after our big family vacation was postponed last min. We found this home and although it didn’t have a ton of reviews we decided to go with it based on pictures and the fact that it had a pool. The owners were extremely friendly and kept us updated about the situation with a wild fire near the home. We decided to still go through the stay despite the fire, and we were not disappointed. There was quite a bit of smoke, but we still managed to have a great time in the home. There is so much room and they even provide games. Upon check out, the owner called me and said how bad she felt about the fire and that we could stay an extra day if we wanted and even invited us back for another weekday stay!!! We will absolutely be taking her up on this offer and we would recommend this place to anyone looking in the area!
