Lovely casita
Publié le 12 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a delightful stay at this beautifully appointed casita. Casita is located on a large property that our pup enjoyed wandering around. The hosts are very helpful and also respect your privacy. This place, like Santa Ynez, is about relaxation. We would certainly stay here again.

Publié le 9 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayOur trip was fabulous. Leo & Jeanine were tremendous hosts.. We loved our stay. We loved it so much we went back on our return from Paso Robles and Carmel Valley. Their Casita isvery private inviting and Cozy.
It felt like we were home.
Thank you for all the finer details and for treating us like family we appreciate it.

Another epic trip to Santa Ynez

The grounds are private, manicured great to chill close to many great wineries and eateries and our dogs love it as well

Worth the drive and price
Publié le 3 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved our getaway at the Casita. The place was clean, cozy, quiet, and close to town. Jeanne and Leo were amazing and very warm and welcoming. Also very dog friendly and their two small dogs were really sweet. Check in and check out instructions were very simple and it helps the place is easy to keep clean. Definitely plan on going back in the future

Relaxing Country Stay

It was relaxing and there were nice touches like coffee beans in the fridge and a banana walnut cake for breakfasts. Santa Ynez is very close although the town is not walker-friendly. Los Olivos and Solvang are also so close and accessible. The casita is comfortable if a little tight in places. There are a lot of bugs which is a function of the locale. Jeanne could not have been more welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed our stay

The only bugs I can imagine you are referring to are the “mosquito hawks” or “crane flies” that come out this time of year — particularly after a rain, which had recently taken place.
These are completely harmless and I dare say, will be present in any residence this time of year. As you mentioned — they are simply a “function of the locale”. It is after all, spring in the country.
We are glad that you enjoyed your 8 night stay with us. It was wonderful to have you with us.

Great place

The property owners are lovely. The house is neat and clean. The location is great. Overall, a nice respire.
