I stayed at Residence Inn by Marriott Santiago de los Caballeros from Sept. 11, 2025 to Sept. 17, 2025 for my husband to see his family. We were given a spacious king size bed with a balcony room. The room was spotless, comfortable, bright, which | loved. I never heard noise within the hotel or the street meaning that there was noise control. I arrived late at night and the gentlemen at the desk was cheerful, helpful and friendly (just what is needed after a long wet drive). I had to leave early in the morning unfortunately but had time for breakfast and this was great. The people in the dining room acted like their colleague the night before (exemplary). Beautiful property, well kept. The quality of food must be improved. It’s like a 2 star hotel in this aspect. The dominican breakfast served had the cheapest quality of salami, cheese, the mangu seems to be reheated for days ( the plantains tasted very strange) Whoever is in charge of this do quality tests. Beds are not very comfortable. Overall if these areas are improved, specially the food, it could be considered a 4 star hotel in Santiago.
