Arriving to the apartments building, please note this is not a hotel, the people at reception asked me to find my name in the book guest, using very bad manners and in a very unfriendly way.
My name was not listed at all, reception had no information regarding the apartment number assigned to me and /or were the keys were.
I rang the cellphone number on the booking and after several attemps I managed to speak to someone who denied having an apartament at this address.
Fortunately a friend was dropping me off and offered me to stay with him that night, otherwise I would have been stranded in Santiago.
I phoned wotif customer service, they kept me at the phone for nearly an hour without any progress, and also did not call me the next day to confirm my credit was effectively not going to be charged.
I went to check in on Saturday night 1st April 2016 and was informed that it is not a hotel, there are no hotel rooms, there is nothing they can do to accommodate us and to call expedia to cancel. To make matters worse they had no internet, no computer and no telephone to even check the booking. As a result of this, I have had to walk three blocks to find another hotel which has cost me an addition $158. I have requested a full refund from Expedia and that expedia does more research and due diligence regarding checking if hotels are legitimate? Very disappointed! I have still not received any refund or return correspondence from Expedia or the hotel.
Nos cambiaron de apart, nos mandaron a Providencia 455, muy incomodo, la habitación cama cucheta sin espacio solo entraba una persona parada,somos personas de 66 y 70 años, ubicación peligrosa, con acoso sobre la forma de pago cuando ya estaba arreglado con su empresa anteriormente. No sabia si he pagado dos veces, ya que no tenia buena internet a disposicion, me arruinaron la estadia. Un bajon!!!
