Was Ok, the bakery at the hotel served my daughter an old donut with mold on it, (the display donut) we were 3 guest we only had 3 towels for 2 days, even after asking, we had to ask 3 times...the room was ok clean, but there was used toilet paper in the bathroom bin, not sure how clean as in hygiene clean, seemed clean but didn't feel clean, after checking out we reminded them about the hold on the Mastercard, we notice the next day they never put the money back, so now we have to go deal issue with the bank... So property gorgeous, decent gym for a hotel, it's the service, cleanliness, and lack of attention to details from the staff...or it's just their culture of not caring much (notice that every where I went in the DR, no one helps or cares about tourism!) so can't blame the staff, but Marriott is a hotel with standard and should train staff to be at the same standard as all over the world!
