Villa DALI Danae with large jacuzzi and amazing volcano and caldera view

Villa DALI Danae is situated in an exclusive and quiet neighborhood along the traditional caldera path between Fira (Thira) and Firostefani, overlooking the worldfamous Volcano and facing the spectacular Caldera view from the front patio, Fira sideways and the eastern part of Santorini and even the island of Anafi from the back patio. It is located in the most unspoiled part of the old town and perfect to enjoy and relax at the outdoor terrace and the front and back patio of the house.

Villa DALI (licensed by the Greek Organization of Tourism since April 2015) was renovated from an old Theran villa in 2015 and again in 2023. Villa DALI, once our family home, has been transformed into two exquisite villas: Villa DALI Leda on the first floor and Villa DALI Danae below. Each villa boasts a private entrance and can be rented individually. Yet, large families and groups of friends can rent both villas, providing a perfect setting to enjoy the beauty of Santorini together! This spacious house provides the unique occasion to live in a private property that combines comfort and privacy. The 85 sq m high-ceiling house consists of three bedrooms (the first two with queen size bed and the third one with double bed), two bathrooms with shower made out of off-white polished cement, a living/dining-room, a fully equipped kitchen with modern facilities and a hall. Since June 2023 there is also a large heated jacuzzi (hot tub) at the back yard, suitable for 5-6 persons.

Some antique furniture of the older house decorate the villa offering a different and classy touch. Contemporary aquarelle and oil paintings decorate the walls of all rooms of the villa. All three bedrooms are equipped with ecological mattresses and are ventilated with Westinghouse 4-speed ceiling fans for ecological reasons. All three bedrooms are also equipped with Carrier Air Conditioner (cool / heat) system of latest technology. The inner temperature in all places of the property is comfortable. The comfortable living/dining room has one cozy sofa, which can easily be opened in a double bed accommodating two more persons. Thus, Villa DALI Danae is perfectly suitable for families or a group of friends up to six people plus two extra people, if needed.

There is free Fiberspeed 200Mbps Wi-Fi access to all areas of the villa. There is also a daily free housekeeping service. Linens and bath towels are included in the house and are changed every three days (their laundry and ironing is provided at no cost for you).
With more than 100 sq m. outdoor front yard and back yard the villa offers the opportunity of outdoor living and outdoor dining. The villa has an inside dining room, but it also offers the opportunity of outdoor dining for up to 8 persons. It has spacious outdoor areas and two big (2.5 meters each) parasols at the front and back patio. So, one can easily lie and enjoy outdoors the whole day long, since the property provides a variety of outdoor possibilities for every time of day and night.

It is crucial to point out that there is an easy entrance to the Villa (the car reaches 10-15 meters from its entrance) with no endless footpaths, uphill and hard to navigate stairs to reach your accommodation. There is a big free parking place 2 minutes walking distance from the house. The Villa is located very close to Nomikos Conference Center, St. John Catholic Cathedral, St. Stylianos Church and the Cable Car entrance, while it is at a walking distance (5 – 6 minutes) from the center of Fira (the capital of Santorini) and all the mini markets, cafes, restaurants, bars and night clubs. There is a convenient public transportation from the central square of Fira serving all places of the island.

The airport and the port are about 6-8 km away from the property (15-20 min by car/taxi). A special minivan transfer service from/to the airport/port could be arranged.
