Twisty roads and unlocked connecting door

We found that driving up to our unit was concerning. It was a 2 1/2 mile drive on twisty roads that were scary. Apparently an easier way to access the unit was closed because of a road washout. Also, the connecting door between our unit and the other unit was not locked and we had to call for maintenance to lock it, so we couldn’t leave the unit until maintenance responded.

Hidden gem

This is a hidden gem. We were there for one night and didn’t get to use everything there was to offer. Hopefully we will be back. GPS does not take you to the correct check in. For us it was across the street.

We enjoyed our stay and received great value for the accommodations. The staff checking in and checking out were great. The property is not as close to the check-in location as I thought but that was okay because it was situated in a very quiet place up on the mountain per se. My only negative is the amenities fee charged for my one-night stay in which I really cannot use. Check-in time is 4 and the pools, mini-golf, games, etc close at 5. By the time one checks in, drives to the unit and then has to drive back to the rec center it's almost 5. Check-out is at 10 and the place opens at 8 but I am not in a rush to go do those activities at 8 am. Would have been nice if the amenities were available until 7 or 8 at least. The price was right so the fee is not that much of a big deal other than I couldn't really use what I paid for.

Clean and updated room. Comfortable bed. Good water pressure in the shower. Decent towels. Good shampoo, body wash and lotion provided. Full kitchen with full size appliances and dishwasher, laundry. Kitchen has dishes, pots/pans, silverware. Very comfortable and we felt safe. We had the deluxe suite which has everything on the same level (no climbing a flight of stairs to get to the bedroom). Would stay there again when going to Gorges State Park.

I had a wonderful stay at Fairway Forest thanks to the amazing service provided by the staff. Cora Lee and Nicole at the front desk went above and beyond to accommodate my needs, offering helpful tips about the area and always greeting me with a warm smile. Moreover, Billie, the manager, was exceptionally kind and eager to assist, ensuring my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Overall, the hospitality I experienced made my visit truly memorable, and I can’t wait to return!

Hidden Gem

Great front desk staff. Physical unit was a little hard to get to at first, but amazing inside. Well kept, very clean and spacious! Amenities are nice and keep you busy if you want them to.

What a great place! Sparkling clean, great balcony, comfy bed, a full kitchen, spectacular shower room, washer/dryer, and even a small living room area. But best of all was the staff. Everyone I met was so friendly and helpful. I should have doubled my 4-night stay!!

The cabin was perfect! It was clean, actually very clean. I was impressed with the bathroom - all white and spotless. The appliances were are in working condition. The kitchen was stocked with clean dishes, drink ware, utensils etc. The view was spectacular. The woman who assisted with check in was helpful and informative. She kept in touch regularly by texting us at appropriate times. Check in and out was seem less, even though the office is not on the premises, it was not inconvenient. The only negative thing, is that you can hear the neighbors showering, flushing etc. it was not such a big deal unless you’re a light sleeper. It still didn’t bother us.

Awesome place…. Except when it snows.

The accommodations were perfect. The unit was newly renovated and beautifully done. The only problem was it snowed very hard when I was there and didn’t get to enjoy any of the amenities they offer due to being closed for ice on the roads. You pay for the amenities card as part of your booking, but everything was closed and no possibility of ever using the card. I called and asked for a refund for the amenities portion and got some excuse that wasn’t acceptable. I hate it, but I’ll never book Fairway Forest again over the poor excuse about the refund, but it’s a very nice place indeed.
