A not so happy stay

The guest house was quite a long walk from JR. Its ok if you dont have a lot of luggages but if you do then you'll feel the strain. Upon arrival to the guest house, I find out Reception is closed until 3pm. So if you dont want to waste your time waiting or carrying around luggages, you just leave the bags at a rack outside the Reception desk (the guest house is completely closed and no one will come at the door even if you ring the bell). If you arrive at night - the elevator from the 1st floor will be closed as well. There is no elevator inside the guest house so accesibility might be an issue for PWDs or elderly. Elevator is also old so you need to keep.pressing open or the floor you want yo go to in order for it to operate. To go to Otaru Canal and the Sakaimachi St will be another long walk. So if you are in for a hearty exercise, good for you. The guest house also does not provide towel, toothbrush or sleepwear so bring your own. Room is pleasant and bed was decent. Bathroom also smelled nice and was clean. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash were provided.

A perfect stay in Otaru

A wonderful stay. Advise bringing ear plugs if staying in the shared bedroom. Had a chainsaw snorer the first night. Bed was one of the most comfortable beds ever. Wonderful feather comforter.

The hostel was a little difficult to get to because of the snowy roads and it isn't immediately clear when you get there because the entrance looks a little empty but you just go upstairs and I found a great hostel with plenty of charm, excellent facilities and very comfortable, spacious room with a great bed. I stayed in the female dorm alone and it's a great size since there's only three beds there. The place was definitely better than it seems in the photos, very clean and tidy. Would recommend!!

Perfect for the price

Very helpful host, with excellent English and good local suggestions for amazinng food. Parking was inside and secure, a huge bonus for traveling with skis. The common area was nice, and it was nice to have a kitchen to cook in! Good location to walk around town.

Feels like home ^^

The staff was very kind and general mood was quite friendly. Though there was only one bath room which seems not perfect for dozens of guests, it also had a bathtub and easy to use. Quite nice stay I enjoyed!

非常不好的經驗

由於從札榥未能塔上快車，所以可能無法在21：30分前抵達旅館，最後連繫上管理人表明狀況並道歉，希望能讓我四十分鍾內抵達，他只有表明這是無法延遲入住的要取消我的權利入住，我當然知道是個人不對有前，但這狀況也不希望發生，而且錢也無法退，22:00到了旅館是一棟幾乎沒有人非常暗的舊樓一直無法取得任何的答覆，在，11點多只好從別的訂房網站又重新付更高的代價並拖了近二十分鍾到新的住宿（當睌飯店幾乎沒有什麼選擇)這是一個非常不好的經驗。

料金 ロケーション 接客対応 等は満足ですが 部屋の隅に何ヶ所かホコリの塊があったのが残念 あとお風呂のタオルがレンタルなのが 申し込み時点で解ると良い（私が見落としていただけかもですが…） あと10時から16時に連泊でも出入りができないのが不便でした 1泊で低価格でおさえたい時など 機会があればまた利用させて頂きたいです

상점가와 역 사이쯤이라 돌아다니긴좋음 매일 10시부터 4시까지 강제로 숙소나와야하는건 아주 크게불편함 그래서 2박할려고 예약.대금치렀는데 1박만하고 환불도 안하고 나와버림 수건 별도대여 100엔 치약, 비누없음 복도 삐그덕거림 창틀 청소 안함 다시 이용할꺼냐구요? 2박할거 1박하고 나왔다구요!
