We chose the hotel due to it being within walking distance from SPAC, where we attended a concert. The check-in was quick. The hotel is beautiful. Our room was clean and well appointed for a one-night stay. There is a Kuerig and a mini-fridge in the room. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is located within Saratoga Spa State Park, where there are many trails to explore. The hotel provided us with a map and we enjoyed walking some of the beautiful trails. Our only issue was checking out - there was a large group that was attending a conference, and many people were checking in early. We had to wait in a long line just to hand in our room keys, which was a bit annoying. Other than that it was good.

I have been to this hotel many times but was disappointed this time that the bar and restaurant were closed until after July 4th except limited weekend hours. There wasn't even coffee available other than the small keurig machines in the hotel rooms. The hotel was clean but the room I was in had chipped paint and the dresser had scratches, etc. The front desk staff was professional and courteous. There is ample parking but if you have luggage you would want to drop off at the front door before parking as there is no valet service. I will explore other options in the future.
