After enjoying a good night's sleep in the king size log bed, you will want to make this your home away from home!

Start the day with a cup of coffee on the covered porch while watching the sunrise through the trees. Stay hidden away or venture out to the small town of Helen, located only 6 miles from Bear Hug. Downtown is filled with restaurants, shops and attractions. Spend the day visiting local wineries or take a hike on one of the many trails in the area. Unicoi State Park is located only a mile away from the cabin, making a leisure hike to Anna Ruby Falls very convenient. Numerous wilderness areas and state parks with trails and waterfalls are located within easy driving distance.

Bear Hug's knotty-pine walls are accented with a collection of artfully crafted birdhouses in the living room and kitchen. You will find the kitchen equipped with a stove, oven, dishwasher and refrigerator, as well as both a standard and a Keurig coffee maker. Enjoy cooking a meal at the cabin, knowing you only need bring the groceries. We have the cookware and dinnerware you need stocked in the cabinets and drawers. For your convenience, there is also a washer and dryer. The cozy living room is complete with a wood-burning fireplace and a flat screen television. Curl up and watch a good movie! Or, you might decide to enjoy the peaceful mountain surroundings while relaxing in the hot tub located on the front deck. Don't forget there is a gas grill on the back porch and an outdoor fire pit to enjoy!

This is a pet-friendly cabin and a one-time per-pet fee will be added if you bring your dog(s). The pet fees that will be added to your reservation are $75 + tax for the first and $50 + tax for each additional.
