Great stay wouldnt hesitate to use again

Its a no frills stay, manager was polite & friendly & was only a phone call away day or night.. the conversion was done very poorly or cheaply and it shows. The furniture & decor was nice & it was clean. If you just want somewhere to sleep shower have a few hours out of the sun its ideal if you expect everything to be pristine, crisp, new then this isnt for you... i spoke with a couple of the permanent residents there just people and like us all some have bad days, its their home i encountered zero issues with anything or anyone and as the heading states i would not hesitate to book again the parking is on the street so isnt always available but seen empty spaces a few times while in & out, the walk to the beach isnt far (3 corners) and only took me a couple of times to remember the way using landmarks

What an absolute little hidden gem!! Jonathan was very welcoming and friendly he couldnt do enough for us and the whole place was beautiful and clean and everything we needed in the room, thank you for a lovely stay we will be booking again in the future, already recommended to friends and family!!

The hotel is cheap and cheerful but has everything you need, especially as we were only staying for 1 night. Jonathan was very helpful and friendly and could not have done more to make our stay enjoyable. We have booked to stay again in July and looking forward to going back.

My second time staying here. Great size room, good location (easy walk from train station, but also easy walk to beach, the castle area etc). Water pressure not great in the shower, and I was really missing some curtains this time (in June it doesn’t really get dark much, made sleeping a bit trickier).

Good location and friendly staff

Good location at the top of town. Could leave car parked and walk to seafront easily through the town centre. Was close to Stephen Joseph Theatre where we saw a show. Hotel is located in a quiet cul-de-sac. Wetherspoons just round the corner for breakfast. Rooms were comfortable but wish I'd spotted the blackout blind before I went bed.

The room was lovely just a bit small. Had a small double and a single. Very clean though. Could of done with a bit more milk supplied but otherwise all was good.

Welcomed by a new girl given keys told where room was. Never explained anything else where we were? had we stayed before? We had two rooms didn’t realise each set opened separate front doors! Never seen owners/ staff for the two nights we were there. Room fine bit dated but clean. Toilet/shower room tiny! But workable. Good location. Would we stay again? Yes good value for money
