Extremely clean room and lovely well maintained property in a quieter part of Scarborough but still withim walking distance of town. On street parking out side the property.

Fantastic stay
Publié le 1 oct. 2023 sur HotelsMy first stay at this hotel and after reading the reviews it certainly lived up to my expectations.it felt clean and well looked after the host was very polite and courteous.
My room was a single but was clean with coffee
/Tea ..sink and toilet and even though the bathroom was a few metres outside my room I was given a dressing gown to wear when I needed a shower .the dressing gown is complimentary in the room .
The bed was extremely comfortable and that makes my stay a lot more enjoyable.as getting a good night's rest
I didn't have breakfast but the options there upon your arrival next time I'll definitely have a breakfast as I could smell how delicious it must have been for the other guests .
I know the.past 3 or 4 years has been hard in this industry and many hotels have struggled but all I can say about the MountView hotel is that the hosts have just added little touches that makes your stay very enjoyable

A bit noisy as it has only single glazing. Shower very small for a larger person. Very clean throughout the room.

Hello Julie,Thank you for your feedback.As much as we wanted to have the windows double glazed we can not get approval to do so. The property is within the conservation area and any works to be carried our is limited. We are just happy that we were able to fit in a shower in the room. Having said that, price for the room was accounted for and it is still best value for what it offers.
