Apartment "Auersbergblick" with balcony for hiking, cross-country skiing, biking and saunas

Perched at the very top of the 721-meter-high Fuchsstein, with a fantastic, unobstructed view of the breathtaking mountain scenery of the Upper Western Ore Mountains and the Auersberg—which rises over 1,000 metres—you’ll find a gorgeous new, wheelchair-accessible attic apartment with a balcony, from which you can enjoy the sunrise over the Auersberg as well as the sunset in the evening. The apartment is easily accessible by elevator.

In the living room, you’ll find a spacious family dining table that seats up to 6 people, as well as a cozy sofa for the whole family, which can also be used for sleeping at night. The bedroom sleeps up to 5 people (one double bed and a pull-out bunk bed, including bedding). In the new, fully equipped kitchen, cooking is a real pleasure after a long day of skiing, hiking, or enjoying the sauna in the Ore Mountains. The bathroom has a window, and of course, towels for the whole family are provided. You can store your skis or sleds in your private ski storage room.

While in summer numerous hiking trails await exploration and the Schönheide Reservoir invites you to take a refreshing summer swim, in winter over 30 km of groomed cross-country ski trails wind through the immediate surroundings. The trailhead for the spectacular Kammloipe is also not far from the apartment. Fans of alpine winter sports even have three lifts to choose from at the Eibenstock Ski Arena—right near the property.

There’s always something to discover here—whether in the forest, on the shores of the Eibenstock Reservoir, or on the mountain peaks. Those who immerse themselves in a nature experience with all their senses will be rewarded with a wealth of impressions. Blooming herbs, the scent of fresh meadows, and a breathtaking panorama let you feel the unspoiled beauty of nature.

Right on our doorstep, playful forest spirits, beautiful princesses, and brave knights await explorers of all ages. This is also true in the dense Auersberg Forest—here, Wurzelrudi looks forward to immersing his visitors in the world of fairy tales. Along the 5-kilometer loop trail in and around Eibenstock, 15 different fairy-tale cottages line the path, featuring good and evil spirits, witches and wizards, and princes and princesses. An exciting fairy-tale puzzle accompanies hikers on their journey.
