One of Schoorl's highlights is the Schoorl Dunes, the most comprehensive and highest dune area in the Netherlands. This area is perfect for walking and cycling, with numerous trails stretching through the beautiful dunes, forests, and heathlands. A unique attraction is the Klimduin, a famous dune about 51 meters high. A short climb to the top offers stunning views of the surrounding area and is worthwhile.
