Not a Family Hotel! Cheap motel!
Posted Nov. 19, 2023 on HotelsThis place is a dump!!! The room was deplorable, reeked of all kinds of smells, had to put a chair up to the window to keep the curtains up. The stay should have been FREE and I still wouldn’t stay there again. However, the Lady (Probably the Owner) was very friendly.

It is CLEAN. It is on the HWY half way between Houston and SA. It needs to be remodeled but I'm sure it hasn't because of the 2 years of no travel. The cable is basic with no major stations. The WIFI is weak. (but I was in the back). Nice people struggling in middle America.

The room was only vacuumed and aired out, you could see where they did not take the time to replace or properly repair items. When they were cleaning a room next to us they only used the vacuum and Windex. Did not remove the sheets in the room. Our room had a dead mosquito on the shower wall. Most definitely the worst hotel I have ever stayed at.
