Charming and cozy attic apartment with high ceilings, exposed beams, sunny west-facing balcony, fireplace and open room for living/ dining. Our lovely apartment is your romantic hideaway if you are a couple visiting the farytale castles and enchanting landscape around. Are you travelling with your familiy? Your kids will find games, dvd´s, painting stuff and a lot of other things to have fun with, while the adults relaxing at the balcony or enjoing a cool beer from the towns brewery. We also provide a baby chair and stroller. Our apartment is for all generations - everybody finds a favorite place to have fun, to take a deep breath, to relax and enjoy the time. It´s your holiday - we would love to be part of your special memories.

Our 80 sqm apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood, directly below King Ludwig II fairytale castle Neuschwanstein and overlooking the castle Hohenschwangau. Leave your car at our parking lot direct in front of the apartment (for free) and stroll to the Alpsee (15 minutes walk) on the ascent to the castles. Walk all the way up to the kings castles or catch a horse drawn carriage (don´t forget to buy your ticket before). You can start many beautiful walkes/ hikes/ bike rides at the apartment for every condition and age. Or you start your day with a swim. Nearly around every corner, you will find a lake. The nearest are: Forggensee (swimming, diving, kajaking, sailing, ...), Schwansee (swimming, ice skating in winter times), Alpsee (swimming), Bannwaldsee (swimming, kajaking) and lots more. Winter times are for cross-country skiing (trail starts 5 minutes away), skiing & snowboarding (if it´s enough snow around, you can skii on a small hill with great view on Neuschwanstein castle - if it´s not enough snow, you go to Austria/ Leermoos which is just around the corner), ice skating/ ice hockey/ curling on the lakes around, sleigh rides or just for walks enjoying winter wonderland.

The next village is Schwangau (very charming, old bavarian farm houses) in 2.6 km and the lovely city Füssen in 4.2 km (train station). Very famous church "Wieskirche" (baroque) is just 30 Minutes/ 25 km away. Schloss Linderhof, also a castle of König Ludwig II, is just 50 minutes (54 km) away. Bavarias capital Munich is a 1.50 hour drive away. A 1.15 hour drive (65 km) brings you to Garmisch-Partenkirchen and to Zugspitze, top of Germany. Cruise the famous "Romantische Straße" or "Deutsche Alpenstraße" to catch a glimpse on lush green meadows, happy cows, dark forests, small lakes, vibrant villages - sometimes dreamy - sometimes medival, outstanding baroque/ rococo buildings....
Even Austria is not far. Our apartment is located just 15 minutes from the border (by car) and 115 km to Innsbruck (1.50 hour drive).

Fabulous Loft Apartment with Views

Second time we’ve stayed in Angela’s lovely, homely apartment and it doesn’t disappoint! It’s a home from home with a well equipped kitchen and every item you need for dining as a family. The lounge is super comfortable with Netflix on the TV and a great Bluetooth sound system. Comfortable beds just complete the luxury. The location cannot be beaten with direct access to the castles, lakes and mountains on foot, by bike or on the excellent public transport networks. We cannot recommend Schlossblick highly enough.

Sehr schöne Wohnung in Top-Lage, ruhig !!

Sehr angenehmer und erholsamer Urlaubsaufenthalt. Lediglich 2 kleine Einschränkungen für die Wohnung: duschen im Dachgeschoss nur eingeschränkt möglich (Kopf in der Aussparung fürs Dachfenster, nicht direkt unter Duschkopf möglich) und Fahrradkeller nur über ca. 10 Aussenstufen ohne Rampe/Metallschiene oder ähnliches möglich (mit schwereren e-Bikes ungünstig). Sonst alles vorhanden, top in Schuss, sauber und bequem. Schöner Balkon mit Markise. Sehr ruhige Gegend und echter Schlossblick.

Perfect location

We found the apartment to be perfectly located, within sight of both Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles. The access of roads was excellent without too much traffic as seen in Fussen. Kristie and I were there 3 weeks and travelled across the alpine cities and towns. The apartment was comfortably furnished with a huge living/dining area. The bedrooms were very comfortable as well. I highly recommend considering this location for a wonderful Bavarian experience!

Super close location to castles

The location in proximity to the castles is really great. The property is nice and has a beautiful view out of the main windows and on one side there is even a view of the main tower of Neuschwanstein. That is the good part about being on the top floor. The down side is that hot air rises and like many European accommodations, it does not have air conditioning. I thought in mid June, it would not be that hot yet, but it was really hot during the day. It cooled off at night but mid-afternoon or early evening was very warm. The bathtub/shower is inside the slant of the roof so you can't stand up in the tub without opening the window hatch. That would drive me crazy if I had to deal with that all the time. I would have to remodel the bathroom to eliminate that issue. We were only there three days so we managed and didn't let that be an issue. For the first and third nights, a breeze came through and cooled off the unit so it was comfortable in the evenings. On the second night, we couldn't open it up because a neighbor was outside smoking all the time. I assume this must have been some other short term rental situation because there was no problem the other nights. This is one of the challenges we face when staying in non-AC properties. With the spectacular location, it would have been nice to walk into the gorge where there is an entrance close by but it was closed and I imagine has been closed for a long time now. The management for Neuschwanstein should get those opened and frankly the community should demand it. They could charge a fee for visitor access if necessary and make it free for residents. We would recommend this property and would stay there again especially when the gorge and Marienbrucke bridge re-open.

Perfect Castle Stay

This is a perfect place to stay! In every way!!! Angela is so good at communicating! The apartment is clean and comfortable for our family of 4. It was well stocked with linens, pantry items, and anything else you would expect. We loved how close we were to the castles. You can walk straight from the apartment and avoid the crowded parking lots. If we are ever back in the area, this would be the place we stayed!!

In dieser Ferienwohnung kann man sich super erholen. Sie ist liebevoll eingerichtet und es wurde an wirklich alles gedacht. Eine Selbstverpflegung fällt dank der umfangreichen Küchenausstattung leicht. Auch die technische Ausstattung ist auf dem neuesten Stand. Auf dem Balkon kann man u. a. dank zweier bequemer Liegestühle und Sonnenmarkise super relaxen und auch für Lesestoff ist gesorgt. Für uns war es das rundum sorglos Paket!

Perfekt für uns als Familie

In dieser gemütlich eingerichteten Wohnung haben wir uns sofort wohlgefühlt! Dank der vorhandenen Spiele, Spielsachen und der Büchervielfalt wird es auch bei schlechtem Wetter mit Kindern nicht langweilig. Tolle Wohnung in perfekter Lage

Die Wohnung wurde gerade neu renoviert, ist sehr sauber und genau wie abgebildet. Sehr gut ausgestattet und absolut tolle Lage. Einwandfreie und unkomplizierte Kommunikation mit Vermietern. Kommen gerne wieder.

sehr gemütliche mit liebe eingerichtete Wohnung

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr gemütlich und sehr liebevoll eingeräumt. Es fehlt wirklich an nichts. Die Vermieterin Angela war sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns alles sehr gut erklärt. Wir haben uns dort rund um wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und wir haben sogar einen kostenlosen Parkplatz zugewiesen bekommen.
