"Villa de Witt" vacation for up to 6 people in historic East Frisian flair

Come relax at our exceptional vacation home, “Villa de Witt,” in Schweindorf. Welcome to Holtriem, in the heart of East Frisia on the North Sea coast.
At our vacation home, you, your friends, and/or family—up to six people—will enjoy a relaxing and wonderful vacation!

Here, you’ll stay in a fully equipped, modern yet historic single-family home. “Villa de Witt” is a unique building in Holtriem dating back to the Gründerzeit era, and in addition to its distinctive exterior, it also offers a very special atmosphere inside.
Historic furniture offers a glimpse into East Frisia of days gone by. The cozy living room invites you to enjoy tea together or game nights by the light of an old floor lamp. For music lovers, the sounds of the past come from an original tube radio from the 1960s. Let yourself be enchanted by this sound! For bookworms, a small selection of vacation reading material is available, as well as various board games.
In addition to the historic features of the East Frisian way of life, “Villa de Witt” offers all the amenities of modern times. The path up the old wooden staircase—stripped of many layers of varnish—leads to the spacious bedrooms under the roof, where luxurious box-spring beds await you and will hopefully provide you with restful nights. On the first floor, you’ll find another bedroom, also featuring a 180x200m box-spring bed.
Of course, Wi-Fi is available, as are three smart TVs with internet access; however, you can also use the LAN connections in the rooms free of charge. The new kitchen includes an electric stove, a glass-ceramic cooktop, a refrigerator and freezer, as well as a dishwasher, coffee maker, electric kettle, and toaster. There are also plenty of glasses, dishes, pots, and cutlery for your stay. A washer and dryer round out the amenities.
Another highlight is the large, walk-in rain shower in the modern bathroom. A small guest bathroom with a second toilet is located on the upper floor.
The large driveway offers plenty of parking spaces or open areas for playing. In the lockable garden shed, you can safely store the bicycles you’ve brought along and enjoy cozy barbecue evenings on the terrace.
If the weather happens to be uncooperative, there’s a covered outdoor seating area that allows you to spend time outdoors even in East Frisian “Schietwedder.”

Use “Villa de Witt” as a starting point for exploring East Frisia. Well-signposted bike and hiking trails pass right by the house and take you the shortest way to the sea, just a few kilometres away. In just a few minutes by car, you can reach both the coastal towns and the East Frisian cities of Aurich, Esens, or Norden, with their rich array of tourist and cultural attractions. In the nearby town of Westerholt, you’ll find fresh bread rolls and everything else you need for your stay in the vacation rental.
