The room was clean, the bed was comfortable good sleeping.. The staff was very friendly. The parking lot was on both sides of the building. They even had a laundry room for guests. I highly recommend it. We'll stay there again..

I wasn't expecting a top notch 5 Star ⭐ hotel because of the low grade it has and the many bad comments.It appears the hotel is understaffed. My room smelled as if a dog had a real big bowel movement and the carpet wasn't deodorizer. apparently the hotel was full and I couldn't get another room. I slept really happy and comfortable in total silence despite the stench. The walls are not sound proof but the entire night was quiet. I woke up a bit late, but within the breakfast time. There was no food for me, that really was unfortunate. The regular coffee was out but the decaf was delicious. Again the hotel was sold out during my stay. Thehotel is extremely clean and the washer and dryer work perfectly fine. It's 2 dollars per cycle, that is okay. Everyone is courteous and really friendly. Everyone working there goes out of their way to make sure the guests receive 5 Star service. No pool here but it does have a fitness center/ The machines wor it's a pretty cool There is a market across the street, the civic center is on the same corner. A Catholic Church is two streets away and a bowling alley is also near. A subway sandwiches shop is a few minutes walk. The amphitheater is also near. A bakery and bar, a gas station are within walking distance. My room has a kitchenette. The toilet is a tall one. No bathtub but the shower is splendid. The room has lots of lights, it has a good size color television. No safeThe blankets are soft and warm. An iron and coffeemaker

Looks are deceiving

Wanted to watch the local channels. No instructions on how to obtain. After trying several times, tried calling the front desk. The phone in the room didn’t work. Called from my cell & explained the issue. The gal noted there had been a report of local channels being out. The earliest of would be fixed would be after we left. The mattress was so worn you rolled to the center. The commode in the bathroom was loose & low to the ground. Soap dispenser didn’t work at all. Overall, it looks clean…but I would not recommend it!

Checked me into room 103; which after I had showered and prepared for bed, I found had a window that did not lock even though it showed locked and also a broken screen. They had nothing to remedy it - actually brought me a broken plastic food tray, which, even if we put it in there, left a gap that anyone could’ve climbed through and most likely would have shattered had the window been slammed against it. As I was on the ground floor, I had to demand a different room. She did not offer to help me move rooms and said that the room was inspected every day (but that is hard to believe since screen appeared to have been broken for some time). Super disappointed, expect to be out here yearly and had hoped I found a gem. The outside door nearest me propped open by a rock, and when I asked if they had security or someone who walked through to check, she said the rock had a purpose to hold down some plastic?? Did not see any plastic. Wish I’d just demanded my money back as it appears the town has plenty of rooms available. Safety is more important than saving a few dollars! She took pictures of the window and screen so I did as well, but I don’t see a way to post those for you. Thought that seemed a little ridiculous to waste my time telling me she’s going to take care of it. And with so few guests, customer service is definitely lacking. Makes me sad, 40 years ago, I was the night clerk at a hotel in Omaha NE and customer service was number one.
