Just a quick getaway with my 5 year old son and our dog to Seaside for a night. I love this place. Great location, always clean, always friendly, easy check in and check out and great amenities at a great price! My son and I loved the heated salt water pool. Last summer the whole family stayed at the Long Beach, Washington location and it was just as fantastic. We will be staying at Ashore again the next team we head to the coast.

We really loved our room!! The bed was crazy comfortable, there was plenty of room to spread out, the shower was a walk in with a rain like shower head. I really dug the decor too! We were a 2 minute walk from the ocean as well as many restaurants and shopping. This was one of my favorite hotels on the whole Oregon coast which we visit often. Great price too!

Solid deck and stairs so you don't hear people banging/walking around. Board games to play. Nice staff. Complimentary check-in drink (on-site small bar). Wide parking spaces. Showerhead comes from ceiling, so unless you're 7'6", you get a good shower. The only down side, wifi would not connect in room. Very convenient to beach and main street/shops. We would book here again.

One block from the beach!

Comfortable & a block from the beach. Friendly staff & great continental breakfast delivered right to your door each morning. Great place to stay for one night or a week.

Remodeled motel but still great

We had an overall good stay. We didn’t look at pictures of the entire hotel but the ones they had on hotels.com. You can tell that it is a remodel of an old motel, which initially was alarming since we were bringing our 1 year old. We walked in and realized it was remodeled and modernized. Our room was very clean, though the Edison bulbs did not give good lighting for our room. Overall, the service was great, amenities were good and were one hotel off the beach and one street away from the main part of the downtown area so location was great. Seaside was a nice town though it did feel a little run down, like it was really nice about 10 years ago. We still had a good time but Canon beach is substantially nicer. Overall, we had a good stay but it’s not your typical 5 star look and feel so I gave it a solid 4.

There was a sewer odor in our room the air conditioner never got cold or cool we sweated all night long the bed was extremely low to the ground and it wasn't a friendly place for older adults

The room was great! Reminded me of a loft in Soho in Manhattan, NYC. The decor works well. Complimentary breakfast delivered to your door and Monk's coffee were a plus too! Staff was helpful and friendly. Beer on tap and mixed drinks too! Pool and sauna were clean, and both were a nice temperature.

We have stayed at other hotels and keep coming back to this hotel. The good: Location! One block from the beach and main street. They’ve added complimentary breakfast. Just make sure you fill out the breakfast slip DAILY to get it. LOVE the meat and cheese board offered. Most staff very friendly. The bad: Pool heater seemed broken. First day (Saturday) pool was very warm (similar to past stays-which is one of the reason we stay here). Second and third day pool was cool-too cold for my 4 and 8 year old. The other complaint is I wish they provided a stick vac or Swiffer/broom in the rooms. Being a block from the beach means sand. We love the concrete floors because you know what’s on it (vs a lot of the hotels in the area that have old, gross carpet). However the floors get sandy quick. Need a vacuum or broom in the room to fix this. The ugly: Checkout is noon (this is great). We checked out at 11:20 and mentioned we would like to leave our car for an hour in the parking lot. We’ve stayed here many times and have never had an issue with leaving it in the lot after checkout for a few hours. Two employees said we could leave it there until noon and no later. Because they needed to have room for people checking in. I’ve posted a picture of the lot at noon. This is a 22 room motel and they had at least 9 rooms open for check in on the day we check out (per Expedia). It’s Monday of Labor Day weekend. Not asking to stay very long but didn’t appreciate the lack of flexibility.
