The Space:

It's not just the beautiful beach - only five blocks away - that will keep you entertained at this lovely, light-filled house in Seaside. Enjoy all sorts of at-home fun as well, a backyard fire pit, hot tub and a garage game room outfitted with Ping-Pong, shuffleboard, and darts.



This two-story home enjoys a fantastic location on the south end of Seaside, just a five-block stroll from the beach and the Seaside Promenade. There's so much within walking distance here, including the Seaside Golf Course (half a block down the street), the Tillamook Head Trail (one mile), and the bustling restaurants, shops, and entertainment along Broadway Street (one mile). Gearhart, Cannon Beach, and Ecola State Park are all less than eight miles away as well.



After a gorgeous day spent surfing, boogie boarding, or beach combing, walk home to unwind and reconnect in the backyard. Light the gas grill for an afternoon barbecue, soak in the hot tub, gather around the fire pit at sunset, and stargaze.



The interior has an easy, modern charm about it. Set up board games at the dining room table, stream movies on the living room's smart TV, and prepare meals in the sleek, well-equipped kitchen with your sous chefs seated at the breakfast bar. We stayed for two nights. Two adults, three kids. Pro: super clean hot tub, clean house, pretty comfy beds, game garage is pretty cool. Con: house is not bright, modern like the pics show. The shower is very small, reminds me of a camp ground shower. No shelf to put soaps/shampoos. The stairs, floor, handrail, walls, doors are very worn and old and uneven. Dirty looking. Bedroom door doesn’t close. The code to the front door is 10 digits! And trying to do that in the dark wasn’t the most convenient. There’s not much for spices/seasonings to use for cooking. There’s not a lot of games and no puzzles/cards…no biggie but it would be a nice bonus for the kids. For the price and for what the pictures show, I expected a bit more.
