Former Sedona Pig Sanctuary - Now Accepting Humans

Once home to 33 rescued pigs, now a peaceful Sedona sanctuary for humans! Tucked away in the Village of Oak Creek, our spacious 4-bedroom, 2- bathroom retreat sleeps up to 10 with red-rock views, a private backyard, hot tub, metaphysical library, and meditation pond. Quiet, private, and surrounded by natural beauty, with amazing night skies. Come for the red rocks, breathtaking local hikes, vortices, possible aliens, and know that your stay supports the pig rescue work that began right here.

The space
There’s plenty of room here to spread out, explore, play, and properly Sedona. Wander outside with your morning coffee, watch for the local wildlife, challenge your people to cornhole, play games, hang out around our one-of-a-kind meditation pond, or find a quiet spot and stare at the red rocks until you forget what day it is.

Feeling extra Sedona? Explore our metaphysical library and teach yourself the basics of tarot, palm reading or whatever mystical rabbit hole calls to you. No guarantees regarding enlightenment, vortex activation or suddenly knowing what your friends are thinking.

When adventure calls, some fantastic hiking trails are just minutes away. We’re tucked into the Village of Oak Creek, close to local restaurants, coffee and shops, while Uptown Sedona is only about 20 minutes away when you want even more restaurants, galleries, shopping and general Sedona-ing.

Back at the house, there are decks and outdoor spaces for lounging, games for staying in, a hot tub for soaking tired hiking legs, and spectacular night skies when the sun goes down. There’s enough space to vacation together without having to vacation together every second.

Hike. Play. Read some palms. Watch the wildlife. Soak. Stargaze. Stare at rocks. Do absolutely nothing. We fully support your vacation choices.

The home accommodates up to 10 overnight guests, with 1 king bed, 3 queen beds, 1 pullout couch, and 1 futon.

Comforts for your stay
Four smart TVs, a washer and dryer in the garage, refrigerator-filtered drinking water, reverse-osmosis water at the kitchen sink, and a few pieces of garage workout equipment make it easy to settle in.

Nearby trails and exploring
Approximate driving times without traffic: Rabbit Ears and Jacks Canyon, 3 minutes; Bell Rock and Courthouse, 10 minutes; Cathedral, 15 minutes; Airport Mesa, 20 minutes; Boynton Canyon, 35 minutes. Tlaquepaque Arts and Shopping Village is about 20 minutes away, and the Chapel of the Holy Cross about 15 minutes.

Guest access
Make yourself at home and enjoy the property as your own Sedona sanctuary. Our property stretches beyond the walls down to the wash.

Interaction with guests
We respect your privacy and want you to enjoy the home as your own, but we’re available by message if you need anything during your stay.

Other things to note
All the products we use are vegan and cruelty-free. No one should have to suffer for us all to have a good time.

Our meditation pond is a unique feature of the property, but it is not a swimming pool. Enjoy pulling up a chair, pillow, or yoga mat and gazing into the water and enjoying the sound.

This was formerly the home of our nonprofit pig sanctuary, Snouts of Sedona, and your stay helps support the rescue work that began here. The pigs have moved to their new sanctuary, and we are now known as Snouts of the Southwest. There are no resident pigs at the property—but we like to think they left behind some pretty good pig vortex energy. Proceeds beyond our mortgage, property maintenance, and operating expenses help support the rescued pigs at Snouts of the Southwest in Hereford, Arizona.
