Please note: we do not provide refunds or rescheduling for no-show reservations.

Check-out time is 11:00 AM. Late check-outs impact incoming guests and housekeeping schedules, so please plan accordingly. A $75 late check-out fee may apply for departures after 11:00 AM without prior approval. If you’d like a late check-out, just ask in advance - we’ll do our best to accommodate when possible.

Pets are not permitted at Geronimo Creek Retreat. Pet-friendly stays are available at our sister properties, River Road Treehouses & Sky Cabins, and we’re happy to help you find the perfect fit there if you’d like to bring your furry friend.

Quiet hours are from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Please be mindful of your neighbors and the peaceful creek environment. Sound travels easily over the water, so we ask that there be no loud music, shouting, or disruptive activity during these hours. Guests who disturb others may be asked to leave without refund.

Smoking or vaping is not allowed inside any cabin or structure. Evidence of smoking indoors may result in a cleaning fee starting at $200 to restore the space for future guests. Outdoor smoking is allowed — please dispose of cigarette butts responsibly.

Fireworks and open flames are not permitted anywhere on the property. Campfires and grilling are allowed only in designated fire pits and grills. Please never leave fires unattended and make sure they are completely extinguished before leaving the area.

Excessive mess, damage, or removal of furniture, fixtures, and equipment will result in reasonable replacement or cleaning charges.

All dishes must be washed and left on the drying rack before checkout. A $25 fee will be applied if dirty dishes are left unwashed.

Also, make sure to:
-Set the A/C to 78°F during summer or heat to 72°F during winter

Awesome Quick Adventure

My family and I really enjoyed our stay in the Sweet Medicine treehouse. It was very convenient being able to park right under the treehouse. While pulling in everyone was excited by the view of the property and the creek. My son and I were a little hesitant to get into the water at first being the only ones there at the moment. We did get in and were refreshed by the cool water. Soon the rest of the family joined. The kayaking was very fun although the paddle up the creek isn't very far. We saw plenty of wildlife consisting of deer, racoons, turkeys, fish and even snakes. There are signs on the property to watch out for the snakes so please do so, especially by the dock in the early mornings and evenings. It took a lot of courage but we did kayak at night which was probably the coolest thing with a bit of a creepy factor. You'll hear owls, see snakes swimming and the fish chasing/eating insects that get to close to the waters surface. Overall an AWESOME experience for everyone!
