Not even a bottle of water in the bedroom. No iron, no coffee, queen sized bed (two singles put together with a single duvet. Really .. what’s the point of paying for a queen sized bed when you can only use it is a single.
Nobody speaks English at the hotel (apart from on last day I met somebody who spoke English)
No reception at all (no one to greet you). Everything is done on a checking in machine. I don’t particularly like this.. it’s impersonal and not very welcoming.
The restaurant attached wasn’t good either. Menu is in German and not available in English and the restaurant manager cannot speak English to translate it. When I did order food it came VERY quickly. A mixed grill for instance arrived on my table within 3-4 minutes after ordering so clearly pre-cooked and reheated.
Lastly a 500ml Coca Cola costs…. Wait for it …. €5.90.
Do yourself a favour… if you need to stay in the area, you’re better off staying at Hotel Sud. At least there one feels welcome.
I felt very unwelcome at this hotel and it was pretty expensive too.
PS. They don’t do toast at breakfast either, nor bacon.

Hello guest, thank you for your feedback, which was quite predictable. Since transparency is very important in our house, we also inform every guest in advance about our check-in system and all the services we offer. During your stay you had a large double room with a king-size bed, a second bed linen was also in your closet available. We also spoke English with you every day and always greeted you in a friendly manner in the morning. Of course we are sorry that you were not satisfied with your stay, but this is also due to the fact that your colleagues were accommodated in a different hotel, and we them could not offer free cancellation.
