Coming from the U.S., I wasn’t sure what to expect upon arriving. The Grace Garden hotel exceeded all my expectations with the most accommodating staff I have ever experienced. First, it’s in a great location, close to the mall, with decent roads. The hotel exterior is really gorgeous and well maintained. Everything was clean and many staff on site to help. Check in was simple and convenient.
The rooms were clean and well stocked with toiletries, coffee, tea, and a refrigerator. We had 3 rooms, and one of the bathrooms was dirty. The bed was large and very comfortable with soft bedding. The air conditioning was in great working condition. Anytime my family needed something, we were promptly attended to by the great staff which resembled something of a 5 star hotel in the states. The robes and slippers were also a wonderful added bonus.
The pool was very clean. We did have to wait about 40 minutes for the food, but I believe that is because everything is made fresh to order. The breakfast was hot and plentiful, but a little hard to please American children’s tastebuds. All in all, I would definitely return to Grace Garden when in Takoradi again.

Hi and thank you so so much for your comments and thoughts. We are more than pleased and honoured to have been able to cater to you guys well enough to make you happy. We sincerely do apologize for the incident with the bathroom and humbly give no excuse for this but rather a promise that we shall keep striving to do better. Oh, I wish we had been quick enough to have done something about the breakfast for the kids. We know they have their own agendas with that :-) and we shall try to do better in that area as well. Again, apologies for the delay in the meals but you are 100% correct when you say we start every meal from scratch, hence the delay. Our chef has been adamant on providing food that's fresh and I must say that in most cases I personally do agree with her cuz the meals tend to be worth it ( I hope I don't sound biased here), though we should and shall try to find a way to expedite this. Comments like the ones you have made makes our efforts worthwhile and pushes us to better ourselves. From one person to another, we know that compliments tend to make one feel great and you have done just that. Thank you for that and thank you for choosing us and your patience with us as well. We look forward to having you back again and also look forward to your honest and in-depth review of us as well. We promise to always try to give you your premium comfort.
