We loved the food hall across the street and the nice restaurant across the street. With a bus tour, I recognize that it’s make the hotel dining options would be crowded. The room was well designed and we loved the comforts of home.

The room was comfortable and well equipped with two comfortable chairs, desk, a coffee maker, kettle, and a spacious bathroom. The lobby was very spacious as was the bar/restaurant with nice views.

Upon entering, there was a noticeable musty smell. Hotel was fully booked so no room changes. Wi-Fi was down for the entire building upon arrival, lobby said they were working on it. But the wifi did never work till checkout next day.

Very comfortable beds and the room had blackout curtains--- thank goodness! The breakfast was varied and very tasty. My kids loved making waffles and my husband and i enjoyed the fresh breads and spreads.

We really wanted to love this place but it didn’t live up to expectations unfortunately. The location, town, and view from the room were lovely. The lobby was very nice but our room was very run down and wifi was nonexistent in our room. The shower leaked and was quite mouldy. Overall this place is clean and decent enough but I would not return.

We made this reservation the day of our stay. When we arrived at the hotel, there was no one at the desk. We had to call the number provided and waited 15 minutes for someone to show up. This is a large hotel, so that was surprising. Unfortunately, we arrived right at 9pm (hoping for a bite to eat) and there are no restaurants open in the area, including the one at the hotel. (This is common in Iceland, so it was entirely our fault.) The room was very dated. This was easily my least favorite stay of our trip. I would not stay here again.
