Posted Sep. 29, 2018 on HotelsOverall a good place to stay.Breakfast was basic but it’s fine.Toilets were almost dirty but in the middle of my stay they started cleaning more often.A good place if you’re traveling solo or on a budget!

Pros: The staff
Cons: The tree in the middle of the lounge made the room smaller. if that was gone, that would be great.
Location: lots of resturants and night performances.
The staff was Nice.
It was warm but a bit stiffy and small (but that's because of my height)
lounge was quiet.
time was well spent

Dirty and rundown hostel

I waited15 min for check-in because the check-in staff left the hostel. That was unprofessional.
The 2nd floor hallway smelled like sewage.
Bathrooms and rooms were not cleaned. The bathroom was cleaned only once during my 3 night stay. The trash can in the bathroom were overflowing and yet were not emptied!!! Disgusting.
People kept leaving the outer door and the room door open. The outer door lock on the 2nd floor did not work properly. A huge security concern!!!
I will not return to this hostel.

A great choice

Awesome hostel in a great location
Posted Feb. 24, 2016 on ExpediaI needed a place to stay at before moving into my dorm, and I picked out this place. It was definitely the best choice I made.
I was able to meet people from all over the world and make new friends! The atmosphere was wonderful. I had a lot of fun during my stay!
The dorm rooms were clean, and the bathrooms were clean. I really liked the make up room for the girls.
Eggs, toast, and jelly were available for you to have breakfast. There was a small kitchen for cooking, and they had the utensils you need.
The staff was really friendly. They were always willing to help us do things like order food delivery or suggest places to go. When it was time to move to my dorm, they helped us call a taxi.
The house is in a great location in hongdae. It is perfect if you are into street music, shopping, and the night life in general.
I really enjoyed my stay, so I'll probably be back soon!

Posted Jan. 29, 2016 on HotelsLocation is perfect, the hostel is cute. But I will not stay here again due to other guests. I did not sleep for three days, and I had to get up early for tours. This hostel is very social, which is fine. But the days I was there, the other guests were having parties and yelling late in the night. The last night, when the other guest was still yelling at 3am I was really considering to check in at another place down the road. The common room is right next to the dorms. Staff is on duty 10am to 11pm

Nice staff, good location

Pros: Good location and easy to reach a restaurant and subway. Nice staff.
Cons: toilet not enough. It need to have a wash basin outside toilet.
It has three storage hostel in the building. I stay at lower floor. It has around 14-18 people stay at few room but only 1 bath room (wash basin inside). Therefore, it is so busy in some rush hour. Or you moving to the other floor. Mix Dorm's space just acceptable. Nice staff! The breakfast time is 6-10am. However, I haven't it until 8am when I stay 2 night there. May be need some help.

Staff don't make this hostel stand out
Posted Nov. 6, 2015 on HotelsCRBP is in a great location, you've got shopping and nightlife near Hongik university, with quick and easy access to several subway lines. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend staying here mostly because of the staff. They are friendly enough (usually said hello and goodbye) however, when I asked a question or for help I was given an answer and the staff didn't try to find a solution when the answer was I don't know. I stay at places more than once if the staff go above and beyond. For example, if I need to print something, then it would be nice to use the printer at the hostel, and pay per page, if necessary, rather than the staff telling me to go to an internet cafe to print 2 pages.
The area that people can gather and watch tv or eat is also very, very small. The staff would sometimes sit on the couch and watch tv, and also use the kitchen table to work on their laptops. If location if all that matters when finding a place to stay while travelling, then CRBP is good for that.
Regarding the cleanliness of the room, I found a receipt under the bed from September. The linens are clean, and the area by the mirror is dusted, but they don't clean the rooms thoroughly after guests have left. There are also some finishing touches they need to work on, like providing trash bins that you can open by stepping on it, rather than using your hand.
