Very good hotel in a great area for food and shopping. Walk everywhere from Myeongdong to City Hall and Gwanghwamun. Great food options nearby at very reasonable prices. I would definitely stay here and recommend it to people looking for a more local feel away from tourists. The back alley ways give you a taste of Seoul’s past. If you don’t want to see that you can just stay on the main roads Cheonggyecheon-ro and steam right in front of the hotel. Daily house keeping with fresh towels and bottled water was excellent. I really enjoyed this hotel and look forward to staying here again. Only downside for us was the water pressure for the shower and all the construction around the hotel. The noise wasn’t too bad but construction never stopped even on rainy days. Overall an excellent place to stay, comfortable room with a king bed and I almost gave it a 5 star all the way across.

Room was so stuffy and AC was not working, so we had to use a fan in a room with no windows. Very old outdated hotel. Night staff in the front desk was not friendly at all. The only positive thing is that it’s near a lot of restaurants and shops.

The hotel rooms are fine, and are comfy enough. The rooms are cleanly, but pretty bare. Convenient location for single travellers. The washroom for the single bed rooms are very tight.

Comfortable enough but needs an update refurbishment - no USB charging ports or international power sockets found in more up-to-date hotels, and no light switches by the bed, forcing you to switch on/off lights at a wall switch away from the bed. Not all rooms have baths so check when you reserve.

I had a good stay at Hotel Venue G. The location is excellent — very walkable and close to two subway lines. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the hotel is in good condition. The mattress wasn’t very comfortable and cleaning could be improved, but overall it was a pleasant experience.

Location was quite good as it was next to two stations, easy to walk to the palaces and hanok areas. Cleanliness of the common area and room was lacking. Handful of stains were found in the hallway carpet leading to our room (level 8). We had to get our bedsheets changed as there were a lot of stains on them. Staff member came in with boots into our room and changed the sheets promptly, but still had stains unfortunately. Good thing we brought our house slippers from home. We had also found used food skewers and candy under our bed… not ideal. Front desk staff is very helpful.

Room was super clean and staff respected our privacy. Amazing stay and just a 15 min walk away from myeongdong night market. However there were times when we could not get an uber from the hotel. Overall, would stay again!
