Decent suite hotel in a great neighborhood

I stayed here two years ago and it was much better then. Now this hotel is starting to feel a little aged, and I didn’t like the layout of our suite as much as last time. And the shower door did not keep water from spilling out into the rest of the bathroom. So the bathroom floor kept flooding anytime we used the shower. It was unpleasant. But the location is fantastic. It’s right in the middle of Jongno and there are a lot of great restaurants and bars as soon as you walk out the door. Plus it’s close to several different subway lines. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. The hotel also let us keep our luggage there for a few days while we traveled to Jeju. The service and employees were great, and there aren’t that many hotels in Seoul with true suites (multiple, separate bedrooms), which is why I chose this hotel. We didn’t want to sleep in a row of beds together; we wanted separate bedrooms with a living room. But I don’t think we’ll be back. It would be better to just book separate rooms at a newer hotel.

Our hotel room had mold on the ceiling, stains in the carpet and pieces of wallpaper missing. The room faced the strip of restaurants/bar and loud music started at 8pm and went on until after 2am every night. We had a 2 bedroom suite, one room faced the nightly music, the other room was next to the elevator and the sound of it was loud 24/7. The staff was amazing and quick to respond. There are no phones in the room rather you must use 1 of 4 apps to communicate with the staff. I probably would not choose to stay in this specific location again due to the noise factor.

We loved our 7 night stay. The front desk staff made us feel so welcome from the very beginning. They helped us book a taxi and gave us recommendations on places to visit. Our apartment was given fresh towels and bottled water every day and a full clean was completed on day 4. The cleaning staff were also so friendly and helpful. The apartment was in a really great location with shops and food so close. There was music until late at night from nearby places but we didn’t hear it from our bedrooms and it added to the overall experience. Our kids loved people watching out the windows! We were also loaned umbrellas during our stay as it rained which was so nice! There was a washing machine and dryer just outside our door which was so convenient. Our time at this hotel was wonderful and we would definitely stay here again - thank you SO much!

The location was amazing for walking to shopping food and historical sightseeing. Fit our family of 6 well. Didn’t mind the nighttime lights and noise from the night scene. Only thing we wish was fixed better was the shower sloped towards the door for every shower flooded the bathroom.

The moment we checked in, Kate (receptionist) was warm and friendly. It was a great location for family of 4 needs. I did not realized that there’s room that don’t have a view, so I requested for a room change with a view and Kate was able to accommodate my request. I would give 5/5 rating if it weren’t for the shower area leaving puddle of water in the bathroom area. This is not an easy fix, it’ll need renovation. Other than that it’s a great location, walking distance to Myeongdong, subway stations and restaurants.

This was a great place if you have 4 or more people traveling together. It is spacious and has everything you need. However, you are in the heart of a busy area and the music is pumping all day and all night long. The good part is that you cannot hear it in the room where you sleep but can hear it in the living area all day long. It is easy to get wherever you need to go to and has good food nearby. Overall it was a great stay. Also the AC works so well which is a huge plus in the summer heat!

Excellent location, clean rooms and good staff. Lots of restaurants, cafes and bars below, hence the noise. If you’re not a heavy sleeper, bring some earplugs or come back very late and sleep in.

Great family trip!

Front desk attendants were so kind and spoke English very well. The location was very convenient although a bit complicated to find. Our unit was perfect with two fill baths and two bedrooms. It’s small for what it is but worth it due to the location. The unit doesn’t have windows and the main AC unit was making a noise but we just closed our bedroom doors at night. There’s a washer in the unit and a larger dryer in the main building. We usually stay in Kangnam but we were able to discover many new places due to our stay here!

Staff was great! Though the rooms were clean, but the physical room itself is not maintained well. They need to reseal bathroom installations, check for molds, replace old/broken parts, update carpets, and physical amenities can be improved drastically for the price we paid. Our shower leaked to the sink area (broken seal in the glass wall), the carpet is not a carpet. It's the cheap material that typically probably goes under a carpet. Our second bedroom door didn't close as the second bed blocked the door. The noise is real, it's in a busy area so ton of places to eat/drink. If you're sensitive to noise, don't book at this location. The noise comes through as there is almost no noise cancellation of any sort. For the price you pay, you're expecting a bit of more higher quality and maintenance of the property. However, the wear and tear of the rooms is visibly noticeable and needs to be revamped. The rooms are also much smaller than pictures. As noted above, we could not close our door to one of our bedrooms. Location is great as it is close and walking distance to all touristy spots. Food scene is decent, lots of variety.

Very clean, modern, and spacious rooms. Excellent suite if you have 5 people or more traveling. Lots of restaurants within walking distance and close to Seoul Myeongdong and Hingdae areas. One area of opportunity is the external noise level. It can get a little loud up to 3 or 4am so I recommend some ears buds.
