We loved this little locally-owned hotel. The staff was small, but friendly and nice. Most spoke some Engish, but all were ok with me practicing my assez bon French on them. The food was good, and the prix fixe menu was a great deal. For 8 euro, I thought there should be eggs or a little more protein on the breakfast bar, but what was there was really good. They have a pool and a pool table and two big dogs that are very friendly.
It seems like a business person's hotel, as there is very limited staff on the weekend (and only one other family staying there!), There's not much around, but you are only 15 minutes from Pau and every restaurant you'd need. There's a decent Chinese restaurant, Mei Ling (really!) nearby and an outstanding pizza brasserie on the way to Pau. I'd stay here again for sure.
