Summary: The Rustic Charm has 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a game room and a bonus room and we sleep 12 guests. This is perfect for a wedding & reception. There is a Groom's Quarters and Bridal Suite for them to get ready. We host weddings here and at The Vieux, but there are additional costs for the packages. Contact owner for details. We have a wedding venue with mountain views and much more. There's a Firepit and Pickle Ball on the property and much more.
The Space: Although it is a part of Tanner Manor Lodge (TML), The Rustic Charm ONLY shares outside items (picnic tables, grill, bench swings, Pickle Ball, huge chess/checkers board, etc)
There will be a Pickle Ball court on the property in February.
There are 12 acres that you can hike on and even a small outside chapel and gazebo to be used for an outside wedding (at an extra cost and it needs to be approved beforehand). You can follow the gravel road from TML up to the top - curve to the right - to find the gazebo, mountain view area and a bench swing that overlooks Pigeon Forge and the mountains behind it. There is a community Firepit behind Tanner Manor Lodge. Go behind the cabin and you will see 2 gravel paths, take the one to the left that leads up to the Firepit. There is a hose there to put out the fire after it has been used. Behind TML there is also a grill and picnic tables. Picnic tables and bench swings are also located around TML for your use. The balcony outside of the front of The Ranch is only for the guests of The Ranch. Everything else is shared by all guests. Behind TML there is a large area with a picnic table and a well house. On the other side of the well house is a big deck box with outside games (bocce ball, croquet and other games in the future) for your use. Just please put them back after you are finished using them. There is an EV charger at one of our cabins that is a short walk away. Be sure to bring your adapters if you have a Tesla, the connector is the J1772. Just let Kathryn know if you are going to need to use it while you are there so she can arrange it with the other guests. The space is NOT a separate cabin, it is a unit INSIDE of a large Lodge - Tanner Manor Lodge. There are 4 overnight units in the Lodge.
Other Things to Note: Bring own firewood for fireplace (available October - March) and firepit. Bring charcoal for grilling. There are vacation brochures, coupons and guides at the front of Tanner Manor Lodge and brochures about our cabins as a Destination Wedding Venue and for Retreats also located here. Feel free to choose what you need.
Interaction with Guests: We live in Seymour, TN (20 minutes from the cabin). Please contact me if you have any problems while you are here. If we are in Tennessee, we can be available as needed or we'll have someone come help as soon as possible.
Great house, great views, worked well for our larger family of 8. We came from 9 hours away. The kitchen had all the needed equipment to eat in the house for our trip. It did not have any food staples (wasn't expected.. but always nice to have in a pinch... like baking soda... not a negative but some houses have these due to other guests leaving them). The game room was stocked with games for all ages. The trail and pickleball courts are a great addition as well. Would stay here again.
The property manager was great-very responsive to communication about issues (we had a millipede issue, but they responded very quickly).
The cabin itself is nice, but the layout is a little strange. One bedroom has an en suite bathroom with a toilet and shower, but no sink. Another has a full en suite, but there is no door between the bedroom and the bathroom. Even a curtain would have been helpful.
Other than that, the cabin was very spacious and they appear to be in the process of upgrading (new floors, games, etc). There were plenty of towels and linens and the kitchen was fairly well stocked as well.
Overall, for the price it was a very nice cabin. Convenient to Pigeon Forge (10-15 mins).
This is a perfect place to stay for weddings at the magnolia wedding venue. Itâs only a few minute drive away. Itâs also close to all attractions in the area. Cabin was clean and very roomy. Worked great for me and my wife and 3 adult kids.
We had a wonderful time on our trip this spring! The cabin was very pretty and well designed. The road is slightly steep but it is definitely a 2 lane road where most other cabins say 2 lane but more of a 1.5 lane.
My husband and I stayed here with 3 other couples while in town for a marriage retreat. The retreat was held in both Gatlinburg and Sevierville and this home was about the same distance to both locations. It is a little bit of a drive to get there but not bad and it gets you out away from the noise. The home is spacious and well equipped. I usually pack a few utensils and things when we are staying in VRBO's because you never know what you will find in the kitchen, but this one is well stocked, including a drawer full of seasonings.
The host, Kathryn, was very responsive. We had a small issue while we were there and she did what she could to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.
The layout of the home is a little odd, but it gives you plenty of room to spread out or come together.
We had a great stay at the ranch. Alot of room for family fun and a beautiful place. Alot of parking. We were there for jeep invasion and had plenty of room for our jeep doors when they were off. We had a washer issue but the owner was on top of it immediately! She was the best! Any questions we had she was on top of it so fast. Thank you for letting us stay at the ranch. We plan on staying here again.
