Built in late 2019 with attention to every detail to ensure that you have an amazing vacation. This rustic mountain-top retreat cabin is located at an amazing location, minutes to Smoky Mountain National Park and all the fun attractions that Great Smoky Mountain has to offer. It has a modern yet cozy décor with seasonal community pool and other amenities.

Sky Top Lodge is a brand new, family friendly, custom log luxurious cabin offering cathedral ceiling with beautiful, serene mountain views while being only minutes from Smoky Mountain National Park which is the most visited park in the entire United States and all of the attractions Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, Gatlinburg, Dollywood have to offer and it is only 10 minutes from the Pigeon Forge Parkway and Gatlinburg Golf Course.

Enjoy the floor to ceiling windows overlooking gorgeous Smoky Mountain views while you soak in the bubbly hot tub, play games on foosball table or vintage game table and enjoy the large flat screen Smart TV's throughout the cabin. Use the fully stocked custom kitchen to prepare a meal and enjoy an outdoor meal on one of the two covered decks with your family. Enjoy your favorite coffee while relaxing on the deck overlooking the amazing mountain view.

High-end amenities in the cabin include keyless entry, digital thermostat, stainless steel appliances, granite counters throughout and hand-selected, unique furniture and furnishings from Tennessee and beyond.

Cabin is part of the Black Bear Ridge Resort, an exclusive log cabin community that offers swimming pool, chapel, wedding venue, Day Spa and hair salon. (Usage of these amenities is optional and subject to additional fees.)

With fast WiFi internet you can enjoy your favorite shows and movies via streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime and others via large Smart TVs. (membership is required)

Our cabin is also baby friendly. We have, high chair, pack and play, children's dishes and books to ensure the comfort and safety of the little members of your family.

BEDROOMS AND SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS:

First Floor Bedroom: It has a tea tree infused memory foam super comfortable King bed with dual nightstand/lamps. It has black-out curtains for your comfort.

Second Floor Bedroom (loft) : This is a loft bedroom which also has a tea tree infused memory foam super comfortable Queen bed with dual nightstand/lamps with mountain views! It has black-out curtains for your comfort.

The second floor loft has a super plush (ultra-thick) and comfortable futon that can be made into a full size bed.

The second floor loft also has two twin size very comfortable beds.

We have a Pack 'n Play for little ones to enjoy.

BATHROOMS:
The bathrooms have granite counters, tile and nice lighting. Upstairs bathroom is a full bathroom with a shower. Downstairs bathroom is also a full bathroom with a combination bathtub / shower.

The cabin is part of the Black Bear Ridge Resort, an exclusive log cabin community that was highlighted in Southern Living Magazine in 2018 as a top resort in Wears Valley of Great Smoky Mountains.

The cabin is only 10 minutes away from the Pigeon Forge Parkway and popular attractions of Dollywood's Splash Country, Smoky Mountain Mystery Dinner Theater, Southern Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame, Sevier County Heritage Museum, Jurassic Jungle Boat Rides, Pigeon Forge Gem Mine, Titanic Museum, Smoky Mountain Car Museum, WonderWorks educational amusement park, Rocky Top Winery Tours, Mountain Valley Winery Tours, Shopping outlets.

There is parking available for max of 3 vehicles. One car can be parked in front of the house entrance and two can be parked at the lower driveway next to a staircase leading to the front door.

Community pool use is optional and subject to an additional fee. Please check with us if you would like to use the pool.

Place was clean, views were beautiful, and it was equipped with all that we needed for our stay. Only 2 things preventing 5 star, I couldn't find instructions for the hot tub and the beds could have been more comfortable. They could also give better instructions on how to find the driveway, its a very steep hill and took a few min to find the unit.

We couldn't have been more pleased. The location is perfect, not far from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The kids loved the upstairs open layout, Foosball table, checkers board, and of course the hot tub. The balconies have such an amazing view of the mountains and the stars at night.Elizabeth was super helpful, responsive, and pleasant to speak with.Definitely recommend for any getaways you may plan, you won't be disappointed. Lovely cabin perfect for our family of four. We enjoyed the view and the cozy atmosphere. The location worked out great for us to spend time in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg without a long commute. We will definitely return, as there is so much we didn’t have time to explore.

Beautiful views!

We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was perfectly clean and looks brand new. The views off the upper and lower decks are simply spectacular. There are not many window coverings, but that didn’t really bother us. None of the other cabins looked directly into the windows.

Cozy Cabin with a lovely view!

We enjoyed an entire week in the Sky Top Lodge! It was very cozy with a master bedroom downstairs and an open area upstairs where there were plenty of beds and a foosball table and other games that kept my boys (8 and 10) entertained! Not to mention a hot tub that can be enjoyed while watching the sun set over the smoky mountains. There are 2 balconies, so no excuse to not have your morning coffee while watching the sun rise or set each day. It’s very close to Pigeon Forge, but you wouldn’t know it when you’re there since you’ll feel like you’re on a mountain top and all you see are beautiful views and hear so many birds singing. We’ll be back!

Smoky Mountain Getaway

We spent nearly a week in the Smoky Mountains with some family members. Overall, we had a really nice time, however the weather during our stay could have been better. It rained nearly every day, but that did not hamper us and our hiking activities. The property owners, Elizabeth and Seko, were very responsive to our inquiries. We will definitely consider staying at the Sky Top Lodge in the future. The cabin is just a few minutes from the Pigeon Forge Parkway, and approximately 20 minutes from the national park by way of Townsend. If you do encounter poor weather, we would recommend checking out the Escape Room at The Island. Smoky Mountain Brewery is always a good choice for casual dining, along with Calhoun’s, and you definitely want to go the The Old Mill for breakfast.

Black Bear Cabin

Everything was GREAT. The cabin was just as advertised, nice location which was a plus for me being that I’m from Florida and those roads there are treacherous! My family arrived earlier than check in time and SUPRISINGLY Elizabeth was able to make arrangements for us to get in within 5 minutes of each of the few times I had to contact her . She was very nice and wanted to make sure we were comfortable. Cabin was set up with everything we needed to feel at home along with the hospitality of Elizabeth I can say I would rate this property with 5 stars .The views were extra amazing , stores and restaurants 10-15 minutes away made things so smooth . I recommend booking a reservation with Elizabeth if you want to come to a nice comfy cabin not to high in the mountains and you want to enjoy a nice weekend with wonderful views of the mountains with your family THIS is your smooth getaway . Overall, this is a nice cabin for a small family. The location was great, only about 15 minutes away from Dollywood. The view is really beautiful! A couple of negatives for our family was noise and lack of window coverings. You could hear every word, step, etc from upstairs to downstairs. Not a big deal, but something to keep in mind. The main downside for our family was there were hardly any window coverings. This meant no privacy upstairs. Your neighboring cabins could see right through to your bed. It was also difficult getting the kids to sleep because the neighbors keep their deck lights on all night. The owners were great. This is a great cabin, just not the right fit for our family.

Great cabin for a weekend getaway

Very clean ,great view , great hot tub , comfy beds , perfect location to pigeon forge , and only 35 minutes to gatlinburg . Sleeps 2-3 adult comfortable plus a few smaller kids . Had most kitchen supplies but no bowls . Has washer and dryer but they are very small so can only do very small loads , and the dryer does not dry your clothes . But ok to handle for a mini vaca . This is perfect for families , I don’t think it’s good for couples who bunk together . 1 couple sure. There is no privacy . Only 1 bedroom . All other beds are in a large room (loft) u can hear everything in the cabin . Literally sounds like it’s in the same room as u but it’s upstairs . Very steep driveways . Two driveways to get to door . One driveway with the flat parking we could not even get up in dry conditions . Probably fine with a 4x4 . Driveway we used was very steep on a hill and driver side is on a hill that drops to Road below . With kids it sucked .. also to use the pool is 50 dollar extra not included with price . Did not tell me about it til the day I arrived with the welcome letter . I felt the upstairs loft room is not described correctly . Should be written that it’s open room with 3 beds no door . There are no curtains except in downstairs bedroom and one window by the queen bed upstairs . Lots of natural light which is nice but it’s bright in am. I did like the cabin . It was nice for a few days , but there just some issues that i didn’t like . Owner was very nice .
