One of the highlights of this property is Baby Bear Getaway, a 250 square foot, detached "Bunkie" located just steps away from the cabin. This "Bunkie" is perfect for various activities like video game playing, arts and crafts, activities, or simply a quiet place to go relax or take a nap away from the cabin.

Perfect Smoky Mountain Getaway!We had an amazing stay — the cabin was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as described. Plenty of space for 5 adults to relax without feeling crowded. The kitchen was well stocked, and we loved spending evenings by the fireplace and mornings taking in the mountain views from the deck. Easy drive to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge but still felt private and peaceful. The hosts were responsive and made everything smooth from check-in to checkout. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cozy mountain escape!

Beyond impressive experience. The cabin is everything described, but beyond that the host was phenomenal. Over communicated and assured that if there was anything not to our liking they would have it rectified immediately. There were no issues. They thought if everything from some small snacks to plenty of firewood for the fire pit so we didn’t have to worry about finding or purchasing any. Overall this experience was a 10 out of 10.

The cabin was great! The check in and out process was were easy. Plenty of space and amenities for the 5 adults and 3 kids on our trip. We had 2 seniors with some mobility issues and the handicapped accessible areas were perfect. The porches and fire pit area were wonderful and the kids really enjoyed the gaming areas. The kitchen and grill areas are very well equipped for all your cooking needs. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again if we are in the area.

We had the best time on our trip. This cabin has everything you could possibly need. The gate for the stairs and the items for our small toddler made our stay safe. Thank you for providing such a wonderful and beautiful place to stay. The view was gorgeous!

Another Great Stay at Mama Bear!

We rented this property 5 years ago, and our family loved it so much that we returned this past weekend! This property is perfect for a multi-generational gathering. It has many accessible features, including one-level access, ramps, and shower chairs. It is spacious enough for everyone to spread out or be together, and it has plenty to do: firepit, (new!) hot tub, video and board games, pool and foosball tables, DVDs, and books. The place was spotless, and the kitchen had everything we needed and then some. Communication with the owners was excellent! Our family of 8 (ages 84-21) enjoyed the breathtaking view from the porch off the living room while we had our morning coffee. We ate dinner on the screened-in porch, and we gathered in the living room to watch a movie. The cost was very reasonable, and the drive to the cabin was not difficult. We were about 4 miles from a store for forgotten necessities, and there was easy access to the parkway in Pigeon Forge. I am an obsessive researcher when it comes to booking stays, and it is very unusual for me to book the same property a second time. But I could not find any property in the region that was better than Mama Bear for accessibility and high-quality features. You really can't go wrong with this cabin!

Beautiful house in a great location. Plenty of room throughout the house. House is completely stocked with everything you need. Great communication too. Would definitely go back

All things absolutely wonderful!!

Our family of 8 had the most wonderful time in this cabin. There is so much to do there, plenty of room for everyone to spread out & do there own thing as well. My favorite was sitting on the porches watching the sunrise and admiring the amazing views. My boys ages 14 to 26 all enjoyed the game room with pool table & more. The separate bunk house, Baby bear retreat with the video games, pac man & more was a huge bonus for the boys. We all enjoyed sitting out by the firepit.Our 2 year old grandaughter was with us and the owners have baby gates at the stairs which was a help because she wanted to keep going upstairs so she could look down at everyone. The cabin was clean with a great layout, very nice furniture in each room. Cabin was well stocked with dishes, etc. To cook. So many little extras the owners have considered and included. The screened in back porch also had plenty of sitting room and even a nice log picnic table for kids.Our family spent Christmas in the cabin & it was so nice to sit on porches to enjoy lunch together. The location was great! Not too far away at all from main strip and roads were not scary coming up! Property is very pretty out there and nice and quiet. The booking was easy, the owners have great communication and great instructions laid out and sent to you. We will definitly be renting again and look forward to our next stay!

Great for a family

Very nice propery. There was alot to do inside the cabin. Plenty of room to comfortably sit 10 anywhere in the cabin.
