Peace and quiet. What you long for every day, what you certainly hope to find when you travel. That feeling of tranquillity and peace of mind when you slip into bed between crisp white sheets on a soft yet firm mattress, in tidy, quiet, serene surroundings. And the vibrant sensation of waking up to a bright, fresh morning... These are some of the positive emotions you experience at the start and end of every day when on holiday, when everything is new and exciting. Just what we hope to provide for you in Home at Homes... and it is surely there in this fabulous, two-bedroom attic apartment.

For a start, its top location, in the very centre of historic Seville, literally steps away from the Cathedral, the Giralda, the Royal Palace and the Archive of the Indies. Its stunning, breathtaking views, encompassing all the city's greatest treasures. And if that were not enough, the apartment itself: spacious, welcoming, equipped to the detail, with natural light streaming in for most of the day, all year round. A delight for the senses!

Puerta del LeĂłn is one of the most select properties in our portfolio. Nothing lacking here. An attic apartment with a large terrace boasting stunning views, in an aristocratic building in the historical centre of the city. Its location is unbeatable, just steps away from the cathedral complex, the Giralda and all the main sites of interest in the old centre and the Avenida de la ConstituciĂłn, which you will delight in walking along, or seeing from the tram.

Once inside, the clean design will delight the most discerning of guests, with its choice of pure white, simple lines and a love of detail. Luxury exudes from the careful distribution, which makes use of symmetry and furniture aids to visually enhance that sense of open-plan (mirrors, sliding doors, space, carefully-chosen colours...) and quality materials, such as marble floors throughout, wooden windows and doors, tempered glass, etc. The exquisite choice of furniture in all of the rooms. And access via your own private lift.

The heart of the apartment is the living area, a large yet minimalistic space, opening onto the city views and bathed in that very special light that comes with Seville. It has three large French windows which lead onto the magnificent terrace, with stunning views over the historical city. There for you alone is the largest Cathedral in the world, the imposing Giralda – a veritable icon of the city – and the Archive of the Indies. All there for you to enjoy while sitting at the table for four over breakfast or a romantic dinner; while taking a nap or enjoying a good book on the loungers; or even while having a barbecue. And not just in the summer, when the large awning will shade you from the sun, but all year round, as the powerful outdoor heaters will keep the winter chills at bay.

But we were talking of the living area, to enjoy as you chose. It has a sitting and TV area, with a sumptuous L-shaped sofa, perfect for relaxing and watching a film, or organising a meeting with friends or family. There is a glass designer coffee table, with a colourful antique carpet adding a note of colour. There is a large flat screen TV and quality sound system.

The dining area has a table for 6, and the adjoining kitchen has everything the most discerning chef would require, with quality white goods and all the necessary electrical equipment and kitchenware.

There is a guest bathroom serving this area.

The sleeping area has two large bedrooms with full, en-suite bathrooms. The master bedroom is full of light and has three separate areas in one and the same space: one for sleeping, with a large 180 x 200 cm king-size bed and a large designer wardrobe; a working area, with a writing desk which doubles as a sophisticated dressing table; and a full open-plan bathroom which blends in as a functional and decorative element. This has a hanging washbasin, a designer built-in bath with rainfall shower, and designer sanitary ware in a separate space.

The second bedroom is equipped with two 90 x 200 cm twin beds and a Mediterranean-style décor, with deep blue tones on textiles and furniture. The en-suite bathroom is also a wealth of luxury, with high quality designer sanitary ware, ancillary elements and claddings.

We loved the apartment, location was perfect for our 2 week stay, everything you want to see and do is within walking distance. Property Managers Homes at Home was excellent very responsive to the few issues we had. They also recommended parking very close by, Parking Plaza Roma. The private lift made the apartment very secure and quiet. Bed and pillows were comfortable. The terrace was lovely early mornings and late in the evening during our hot May stay. Airconditioning worked well in all rooms. Only 2 of the three induction hotplates worked but with micro & oven we were able to eat well at home.

Fantastic location overlooking the Cathedral , just walk out the front door and you are surrounded by restaurants , cafes and shops and right by the Cathedral and the Real Alcazar . The balcony was large and well equipped with seating and tables . The apartment was also well insulated with no noise from outside . Smart TV and wi fi very high standard . Overall perfect .

Very nice Property, great location and View. We only had some minor issues with the showers and bed was absolutely horrible, uncomfortable and not enough pillows and blankets. The shower is the same. Over all it was clean and a nice stay.

Truly Spectacular

We can’t overstate our level of satisfaction with this property. If your jaw doesn’t drop when you walk in to this luxury space with unrivaled views of the Catedral and Giralda tower I don’t know what to tell you. Perfect location for access to everything you could want to see in the center of the city. A litany of restaurants, shops and entertainment just outside your door. The interior is immaculate including your private and direct access from the spacious elevator. Great WiFi coverage both inside and out on the huge and nicely appointed terrace. I can’t imagine a better way to experience this beautiful city. If I could give it 6 stars I’d want to have 7 to do it justice.

My husband and I only had 3 nights at this beautiful home. The beds were comfortable, kitchen very well equipped, living area very relaxing, but the balcony was the star. The views and listening to the music was such a treat. The home is very well insulated
no noise at night while sleeping, and the air conditioning worked too well! Wish I had planned more time in Sevilla!

Beautiful apartment with a great view

We stayed in this apartment for only two nights, but wished we had more time to stay longer. The location is perfect, overlooking the Cathedral and just steps from the Alcazar Castle. It is also near Plaza de España and the tower d’Oro as well as a large number of good restaurants and coffee shops. We enjoyed our stay very much and plan to stay there again soon.

Amazing location and view!

The apartment was in a fantastic location. The views from the large patio were breathtaking. The beds were firm and very comfortable. The entire unit was very clean. The privacy and safety of the unit and building was excellent. The check in process was unorganized with too many people involved that made for a confusing and unclear check in. The unit should have been stocked better with shampoo’s, soaps, paper towels, toilet paper, etc
 for what we’re paying. I’d recommend filling the refrigerator with ice, water, maybe have a bottle of wine and a welcome kit. If it were mine that’s what I’d offer renters. The outdoor furniture needs to be replaced and upgraded as well. It’s such a nice place and it could be that much more amazing with just a few adds. Would I stay here again? 100%

The location is amazing. The apartment’s appointments are nice. The check in process was confused. Information was sent by the property mgr but missed on our end. There was no confirmation process to ensure we had all that we needed. This is the only property we had this issue with of four during our two-week stay in Spain. Attempts to phone/text enroute were not returned. Consequently we only knew the street and not the house number. Very frustrating and disappointing. Many lights did not work. A plumber had to be called to unplug two drains. Some exterior shades did not work properly. Inside door handle to the main bedroom could be pulled off. Keys had to be used 4 times each time entering. Bottom line - the location is hard to beat, the appointments are nice but there were many misses in delivering an outstanding stay.

The location of this VRBO was second to none.From our amazing patio we could look out over the entire city. You can't beat the location of this comfortable, contemporary apartment, right in the middle of Sevilla. We spent most our time on the large terrace, with drop-dead views of the cathedral and Archivo de Indias. Check-in could not have been easier--the local rep actually dropped off our keys at the restaurant where we had lunch, around the corner, after we arrived in Sevilla. Walk everywhere, and the tram stops just outside the door. One note: stocking a few basics like paper towels and bathroom soap would be appreciated.

Location, location, location. Incredible - even better than the pictures show. Virtually next to the Cathedral and Alcazar. The terrace was so nice too - brilliant to sit outside reading, having a bite etc to the sounds of buskers performing, horse carriages passing and just general street sounds. Well air conditioned - essential a lot of the year in Seville. Light and spacious interior including large lounge area. Lady who showed us the property Karin was lovely and explained/showed on a map where everything was that we needed to find. Great experience.
