With each apartment retaining many elements of the original Victorian house including beautiful cast iron fireplaces, huge bay windows and traditional beams in the Garden flat all adding to the wonderful homely feel.

Providing a very good standard of comfort, each apartment is very well equipped with everything you need for a short break to a longer stay.

We have a well -maintained garden area to relax in and a private car park.

Centrally positioned within easy walking distance of a wealth of amenities to include various restaurants, pubs, shops, a stunning sandy beach and seafront promenade. Ideal as a base for exploring the many beautiful walks along this dramatic coastline, with excellent public transport links available to allow easy access to the whole island.

For guests travelling by foot, the bus terminal, train station are within a couple of minutes walk from the apartments.

Ideal for a short getaway off season, or more relaxing summer long stay. With everything you'll need, even Netflix on the smart TV and excellent highspeed Wifi. Ideally located for exploring the Island with excellent public transport links close by. For two people, accommodation comprises: Ground floor, Lounge/diner, Kitchen, The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hob, extractor, fridge, freezer and dishwasher, everything you'll need if you want to dine in, yet minutes walk from some really nice restaurants. Step up to bedroom with double bed, Step down from bedroom into an en-suite shower room with walk in shower, vanity unit and toilet. Bedding and towels are provided.

Wonderful, spacious apartment

Wonderful, spacious apartment in a perfect location, close to Shanklin Old town and all it's amenities as well as the beach and cliff walks - we particularly enjoy the walk to Sandown. Very clean and well equipped with everything you need for a self catering holiday. Owners were welcoming and helpful throughout the whole process, from booking to our departure.

A spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean apartment.

Ideally situated in a quiet road only a minute's walk from Shanklin Old Village and a few minutes from the beach. A great choice of excellent restaurants nearby or a large Co-op supermarket down the road if you plan to eat in. Perfect.

Absolutely loved the place

Stayed here (Katherine Apartment) recently (April 2022). Absolutely loved the place. Was a proper home away from home. Was beautifully decorated and very clean. Was located in the heart of Shanklin. We were only 5-10 minutes away from all local amenities (bus, train station, shops and beach, as well as the old town of Shanklin). If you are looking for a good base while visiting the Isle of Wight, then I would highly recommend Fernhurst Holiday Apartments.

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at the apartments.

Everything that we could have wanted was provided. The rooms were clean and provided more than enough space for the two of us. It's in a great location with safe parking, which made accessing the town and beach so much easier. It is also around the corner from a main bus stop, which was handy. We will definitely be coming back to the island and we will look to stay with you again in the future, as well as recommending it to anyone who wishes to spend some time down there. Thank you again for a wonderful stay and we hope to be back in the future.
