Great value! Will stay here again.

This might be the best value hotel I've every stayed at. The low price includes a free breakfast. The whole hotel appears to have been renovated recently. The room was small but in good shape and was very clean. The common areas were brightly lit, have a very modern appearance, and were spotless. Staff was friendly and helpful. I have nothing but nice things to say and look forward to coming back in the future.

We were able to stay with our two dogs. The property is newly remodeled, clean, quiet, with friendly knowledgeable staff and if you want hot breakfast you order the day before. We felt 100% comfortable with our dogs. Very close to everything. We love Manitowoc and Two River area to allow our dogs to swim. Great place to stay!

Black mold in the room.

We arrived late on Friday night and we were exhausted from driving almost 6 hours to get there so we just wanted to get our stuff out of the car and get into the room. Upon checking in I found out that there was no elevator and I can barely do stairs so my daughter and the guy at the front desk brought everything up to the room for us. When I got into the room all I could smell was mold and mustiness. We were so tired and just assumed that the room had been closed up for a while and just needed to be aired out so we went to bed. We just got into our pajamas and crashed for the night after everything. We were planning on being gone for the entire day on Saturday so we got ready in the morning and then we left. When we came back on Saturday night the room smelled the same even after having the AC on all day. My daughter walked around the room to see if she could find mold anywhere and on the curtains she found lots of spots of black mold and because it's right over the AC it had been blowing the curtains and the mold all over us all night long. They were also lots of hairs found in the bathtub and I took a picture of the corner of the tub where there were a couple of hairs. My daughter went downstairs to complain and they told her they couldn't do anything and that the hotel was booked solid. In the morning they told me the manager would get in touch with me and he never called me. All the other hotels were booked solid and I couldn't afford to change hotels anyway.

Good place to stay before the ferry trip

The bed was massive, a climb into but super comfy. Despite being close to a busy road it was rather quiet. The guys that checked me in/out were nice.

Our room was quite humid & smelled slightly like mildew. The walls weren't cleaned very well, there were stains throughout room and bathroom. Other than that the room was very nice. Surprising little game room with a claw machine, shuffleboard, dart machine and slot machines. Coin laundry room available. They have a nice complimentary breakfast that you must place an order for. All in all I would stay here again, great value for your money.

We just wanted a room to spend the night and the room we were given was perfect. It was clean, small and cozy. The bed was very comfortable. This is how I like hotel rooms. I don’t need extra stuff in a room. Give me a bathroom, comfortable bed, and a tv. That’s it. We did not try the breakfast but it looked better than what other big chains offer. They actually offered hot breakfast sandwiches. Would stay here again if in the area.

Staff were friendly; room was clean and quiet. The pictures of breakfast items online were way more impressive than the actual breakfast. We could only select one entree and one side. We chose the cheese & bacon omelet. Bacon was scarce and the cheese was not real cheese. I chose the mini cherry strudel (emphasis on mini) and although it was flaky, the inside was hollow with a piece of cherry stuck to the outside. We went out to breakfast the second morning rather than eat in. Everything else was fine.
