Very nicely renovated building. Everything inside looks new in this old charmer. Clean and quiet. I've read some people had a hard time entering, as there is a lock and no staff onsite. I just called the phone number listed on the sign on the door and was in contact with staff and was immediately given the entry codes and was in my room in a matter of seconds. There is A1 pizza within walking distance and they have incredible Donairs. Parking was adequate, with street parking in the front or a small lot in the back of the building. TV, coffee, shower, refrigerator, internet (albiet a little spotty). Everything i needed, and a comfortable bed a well. You could walk into town or down to the waterfront from here as well. It's a nice place. I recommend it.
A couple of explanations on my rating: gave staff and service 3/5 (mid) because there was no option to choose N/A. Self Checkin was available, so no reason to meet staff. Facilities are very limited despite the appearance of a bar and restaurant, but we may be too early given the seasonal nature of the location.
Room was very clean and tidy. It was recently renovated so the carpet and paint were very clean and crisp. I asked for an early check in and late check out and was quickly sent a message that it was not a problem. Iâd recommend the hotel.
Incredibly historical, beautiful setting and since my traveling schedule did not permit live contact with the owner, they have al the means to accommodate, the man could not have been nicer, checking in before making sure all was good then checking after, again, making sure my stay was good which it was, only wish I coulda spent a little more time there, I plan to next summer.
It's a recent nicely renovated property, very clean. Like the hotel itself. And don't mind using self-check in and out progress. However, the stuff forgot to provide password accessing to the hotel, making it a big problem for us. Recommend them to put a contact phone number at the entrance if guest having check-in issue.
I would have happily rated this property as excellent but I have emailed the property owner reference a small overcharge 3 times and not had a response which is a great shame
As the room was superb , the whole place was immaculate and spotlessly clean
Canât rate staff and service as all was done online but we had no problems with communication . We very much enjoyed our stay. Would recommend getting a guest book!
