Welcome to your luxury log cabin vacation getaway. Cabins at Deer Run offers you all of the amenities and luxury you require plus the comforts of home, all the while soothing your senses and soul with peaceful, luxurious properties.

Enjoy staying with us in a luxurious rental cabin, nestled in the forest. Relax in the warm, soothing hot tub. Star Gaze from the porch or enjoy the sweet serene sounds of the forest as you sip coffee on the screened in deck. From Hot Tub to fully equipped kitchen you are guaranteed to have a vacation that you won't soon forget and can't wait to return to.

This luxury 2400 square foot secluded cabin was just completed in May 2012. It offers various luxury amenities to help you soothe your mind, body, and spirit while keeping you connected with the modern must-haves as well. We utilize the newest technology in Solar and Geothermal heat/air/hot water. This is the perfect retreat for a personal or family vacation, a corporate retreat or even a romantic getaway.

Enter into another peaceful dimension where you can sit in comfort by a roaring fire all day, relax on the front porch swing, or perhaps sit in the hot tub and watch the wildlife that comes and goes from the back screened in porch.

Our cabin is handicapped accessible on the first level, offers 3 bedrooms with king beds, 3 1/2 baths, a loft area with 2 full-size futon bunk beds, all rooms have HDTV Wifi access. The kitchen has a purified osmosis water filtration system, brand new Kenmore stainless appliances, dishwasher, microwave, radiant glass top stove, porcelain tile counter tops, and a breakfast bar. The dining table will comfortably seat 12. Smoking is allowed in designated areas outdoors.

The full house stereo is compatible with the iPhone/iPod..just plug it into the port in the wall and enjoy all your favorite music in any room in the house or outside. There are board games and blue ray DVD player..

Centrally located with great attractions to the north and south, Luray Caverns and the George Washington National Forest is just about a 10-minute drive. Skyline Drive/Shenandoah National Park is approximately a 20-minute drive.

Massanutten Resort “A Four Seasons Resort”, Massanutten Water Park, and the Massanutten Ski Resort are only 20 minutes.

We do offer 7-night and monthly discounts. We do offer one night stays during week nights, Minimum stay 2 nights on weekends, 3 night minimum for Holiday dates. Other discounts available, please contact us for more information.

A Fun Place to Stay!

This is a comfortable cabin in a very nice location. It has plenty of nice amenities to enjoy, and lots of things to do nearby. The only downer is that the internet access is pitifully slow.

Beautiful Cabin! Great Stay!

This cabin was absolutely stunning, the pictures don’t do it justice. Came here with my husband for our 21st marriage anniversary and this cabin was simply perfect. The fireplace was beautiful and easy to use. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for the perfect stay. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for the great memories!

We had a nice stay. The cabin is nice but not very excluded or private. It is in a nice neighborhood though, very close to a play ground and other properties. The booking process is laborious unlike most other properties in VRBO but understandable.

Loved this property. Only disappointment was that it was not a single property in the woods. There were worker's trucks and building noise down the road. The property itself was absolutely stunning.

Beautiful and spacious log home

What a gorgous and spacious home in a very wooded area with trails and tons of deer and other animals. Beautiful grounds, wonderful location in a very quiet setting noy far from town. Loved it all! The hot tub was a great bonus, in the enclosed back porch keeping any bugs out. The fire pit and the BBQ area was wonderful as well. Every thing was fantastic,and all staff very friendly and inviting. Great relaxing stay. Will be back again!

Just a Quiet Time

What a wonderful getaway. Stuck back in the woods with lots of peace and quiet. The cabin is beautiful. More luxuries than we have at fancy hotels. Hot tub was very relaxing and clean. The kids enjoyed being in the woods and the wildlife. We will be back this fall and next year.

Beautiful Home

Came down to do some hiking with another couple and the rental home was beautiful and had everything we could possibly need. We grilled the hot tub was great after a day of hiking! We were asked if we would mine if they cut the grass one day which I thought was very considerate. Thank you again for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home

Mountain fun

Our group of three families with small kids had so much fun this weekend. We went fishing, swam in the lake, used the paddle boats, played on the playground, made s’mores, and enjoyed lots of front porch and back porch sitting. This cabin had everything we needed to accommodate adults and kids and the kitchen was full equipped. We will be back - we have already started looking at future dates because we loved it so much!

Traveling friends!

Fantastic! The place was perfect for our group of eight (four couples). The house has a nice lay out. The porch was great with plenty of seating. We wished we could have stayed longer. The owner was so helpful - went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. You will NOT be disappointed. I've already told my sister to stay here when they go to VA.

Cabin Getaway

The house was beautiful. We had 7 adults, one toddler and 3 dogs and there was plenty of room. The house was very baby friendly, minus a few pieces of furniture (side tables). I was hoping for a more remote location. I am assuming it was the time of year but the stink bugs were everywhere. When we arrived, we had to vacuum the house to clean out the stink bugs. Be prepared to drive about 30 minutes to get to any local attractions. The house and yard were a very relaxing place to enjoy vacation and Terye was very friendly and attentive to our needs.

Amazing

I've stayed in rentals just about everywhere within a 2 hour radius and this was hands down the best one I've ever stayed at. The place was so clean and the property well kept. I was really surprised to learn that the house is 10 years old. It looks brand new. So great job on the upkeep. A special shout out needs to be made to Property Manager Terye Williams. She responded to every email I sent within 5 minutes. Sometimes less. We even had a temporary internet issue and she personally brought over her own router until the repair man arrived. The rental gets my highest rating!

Like home, but better!

The cabin was terrific — even better in person than in the pictures! The kitchen is a cook's dream, stocked with all the pots, pans, and utensils I could have asked for. The bedrooms are spacious and have excellent beds; we all slept so well. The hot tub was terrific for early mornings and late at night, and the serious grilling equipment in the back yard was terrific. Normally our family visits different places each summer, but we're discussing just coming back to this cabin every year. The staff was as friendly as could be, and just down the street if we needed anything. They even brought us homemade cinnamon rolls! The only complaints I can come close to making are that there's limited seating in the living room — so parties of more than 5 may find themselves moving chairs around to all sit together — and the wifi is a little weaker than I'd have liked at the front of the house. That said, these are extremely minor compared to all the excellent things about this cabin. I would definitely recommend this to anyone considering staying. This is what a vacation cabin should be!

Amazing stay!

It was an amazing experience. I usually rent cabins every year and this is the best one, with no doubt. They really think about everything and the house is beautiful with everything you’d ever need. And the Christmas decoration was super cute!
